The Pottery Place

What a lovely place! Got our 6 week old prints done and Sarah was fantastic at helping with our little one even when he got upset at the cold cloth!! Can't wait to receive our lovely keepsakes! Absolutely loved our visit and would recommend to anyone!!

The staff are very accommodating. I would recommend booking- especially during half term! They managed to squeeze my friend and I without booking when they could have easily said no.Children were also there where they were also very friendly and knew what they were talking about (even with some of the outlandish questions one child was heard asking!!)Looking forward to collecting our masterpieces

Super lovely independent pottery studio, great range of things to paint, colours, stencils, etc. Super friendly staff and though it's not cheap I feel like it's a decent price for the pottery, materials and glazing! The staff were so so nice and helpful, v accomodating

Went here as a surprise for my parents. I picked out Mosaic as it's the least messiest (we had a booking for lunch after this). We enjoyed the experience so much as it was lovely to see my parents being creative and they love their work as well as I did!

My husband, daughter and I spent a very happy few hours painting plates and tiles at The Pottery Place in Witney. The staff were enthusiastic and extremely helpful. I can’t wait to revive the final items once they’ve been fired.

My daughter had her 6th birthday party at the Pottery Place with 11 of her friends. They all got to choose what to paint from a good selection, and had a fantastic time doing it! Jamie looked after us well and was very attentive. He ensured we had everything we needed and was always there to help. It’s so lovely they will all have a memento from the day and we would definitely go back.

It is so cute here and the staff are so lovely and helpful! There are so many examples for inspiration as well!

This lil place is such a treat. I went with my group of pals (all adults) and we had a great time! The staff were so lovely and friendly and I know it would make a great place for a kids birthday party too. Lovely teas and coffees should you want them as you paint and prices for pottery are reasonable.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!I have never had such bad customer service or an experience with anything ever.I came in on the 18th of May to do a clay imprint for Father’s Day. I then organise to go in 3 days before Fathers Day to collect and was told it was damaged in the kiln weeks before but they hadn’t gotten around to calling back anyone on their list yet.I go in to do a replacement painted handprint on a plate ready for collection on Saturday.Once Saturday comes I go in as arranged and a member of staff was crying and told me it had been knocked off the shelf earlier that day. The whole experience was about how bad the member of staff felt and for not one moment did she consider how upsetting it is for the customer.Just to add I was not called to be informed of this so instead of calling me once it had happened she resumed serving other customers. She asked me to very quickly give my card for a refund - I actually wanted the item. I left the shop as I was so upset and called them and they said if I go in on Fathers Day then the time will be ready to collect on Monday morning and this would be their priority. Monday comes around - no call to confirm if the item is ready- so I go in after lunch and what a surprise- it would NOT be ready on Monday and was due to be finished on Tuesday. If this was such a priority then why did they not ask the other members of staff to follow this up on Monday and ensure it would be ready as promised.Aga was absolutely wonderful and so lovely but I do feel this place is an absolute joke and their customer service is below poor (except for Aga). I will not be returning here ever again which is a shame as I used to come here with my mum when I was younger but it seems the place is now an absolute wreck.Really do NOT recommend under any circumstances. It’s awful.
