Capoeira Teacher Sarue deserves more than the 5* rating. My 6 year old son started his Capoeira journey 13months ago. It began as an additional sports/martial art activity what now is his passion. He enjoys it so much that he infected his younger brother who joined the Capoeira Panda classes. They are both learning about the art and gained a great sense of discipline which pushes them to become better each day. If you are looking to get your child involved in martial art, I strongly recommend Professor Sarue's classes.

Such an amazing place to have martial arts classes.My son is having classes with the teacher and I joined. Init has been now 8 years. Year on Year, we have learned so much. Teacher Luiz is amazing. I believe the majority of the persons don't know Capoeira as martial art, but it is and so complete. Besides all the above is the sense of community created. I love it. I love martial arts side, the acrobatics side, the music and instruments side, cultural side, the tournaments and love to see my son with a smile on his face by the end of every class.

I started Capoeira with Sarue a year ago and I recommend this fun and great Martial art to young and old for good health. Happy motivated team, thank you! :)

A beautiful martial art with an amazing community. I have now been training for almost three years and have learnt new things every week.I highly recommend Capoeira to anyone of any age.It also includes music as well as singing.I have thoroughly enjoyed my time doing Capoeira. Love it!

Amazing facilities, great people, a very unconventional holistic martial ART and a brilliant teacher! Most reviews already mention this, but worth mentioning again that we are an amazing community. Before I joined a trial class back in sep 2017, I didn’t even know what capoeira was! Glad a friend and a capoeira student invited me... there has been no looking back since then. I am no longer a Greenwich local but commuting 1 hour one way each way is worth from what I get in 5hrs/ week (and the support and ongoing fitness challenges outside of the class!) My body is capable of doing things I couldn’t think of before. I am so much stronger than before. If you’re not someone who’s looking to lift just weights but discover the true power of your own body and have fun and fitness, please come for a trial class and see for yourself. The fees are so reasonable, it is impossible to find this in london (or if you’re close to Eastbourne!) thanks to Sarue all he truly cares about is bringing out the best in his students while charging minimal fees to spread CAPOEIRA and promote fitness. In london, he’s managed to keep capoeira as a martial art and not a business! Love that about him.Also a fun fact- every student at some point gets a nick name... (Portuguese of course) ;-) the teacher is so good at picking up the students characteristics and the name is just so appropriate ...Who is capoeira for? All ages and all fitness levels... literally no exaggeration there. If you are a parent, please bring your kid as likely they don’t know what capoeira is! and I promise you will be doing more capoeira than your kid at some point ;-)

The most magical and most holistic Martial Art I know...a space and full-on practice for all ages and abilities, where I can learn soooo much about myself; my boundaries, my motivation, my self-worth, my self-discipline, my self-respect and love, my joys and passions: to me the capoeira teacher Sarue not only inspires but when I go training there I get so excited and happy...simply because it’s the combination of all my favourite activities all included in this powerful fascinating art: fun, dance, yoga, gymnastics, martial art, music, singing, playing instruments, rhythm coordination, neurologically great as you learn ambidextrous movements...plus you get fit exercising on all levels! I recently attended a class as Capoeira Muzenza and it was a very enjoyable experience. It's great for keeping fit and and is full of music and singing.My son attended the kids class, which builds confidence and focus but it also fun at the same time. Children also get to play the instruments and learn a little Portuguese to support their training.Professor Sarue shows great passion for teaching, sharing his knowledge and history on Capoeira. He makes you feel at ease, which is important when you are new. I would definitely recommend practicing Capoeira here! So much fun!
