Overall it's fine but had a few hassles.Pros-good prompt delivery with helpful deliver guy-helpful in shop for selecting accessories required and picking area needed.-fitters organised through them did a high quality job-pretty affordable compared to some other places especially with sale onCons-got a ticket for parking in their car park, they cancelled it but it was a bit nerve wracking- confusion/miscommunication in organising a fitter. Firstly, I was originally told an estimate price that was significantly less than the fitters minimum price and almost half of what they ended up charging me. Not having enough cash despite taking extra out anyway lead to a uncomfortable situation where they followed me to get cash out. Secondly, between organising a fitter and delivery it was unclear the date I was given was for delivery not fitter. The fitter called me about a week after I made the purchase to organise a date. There was then a difference in which date I thought we agreed and which date they said. It's probably a mix up but I just wish I have got everything in writing.Overall each con could be a simple mix up but they added up enough to just make the whole thing stressful. I'm happy with the end product though

Candy was really helpful when we were choosing and buying our flooring. She was a joy to deal with both in person and on the phone. We made several changes to our order and she couldn’t have been more accommodating. She is knowledgable about the products and she has a natural style of communication that is refreshing.

After doing lots of research on artificial grass at various places, we found Candy was by far the most knowledgeable, helpful and had the best variety of grass. Also gave us her time and lots of information on carpets for our next big purchase! Already recommended to my brother in law who again was more than happy with the help from Candy.Thank you…we are delighted with our new addition to our back garden…kids are loving it and we are enjoying having no maintenance on our new lawn. Highly recommend, 5 star service!

The herringbone laminate and underlay suggested by the in store worker have been laid correctly by a professional joiner. The laminate is spread across 4 seperate rooms and in every single area the laminate/underlay creaks and makes a significant amount of noise any time someone walks on it.I have raised this as a complaint with Direct Wood Flooring and provided all relevant information, including photos and videos of the issues, however, their customer service team haven't been able to assist at all. I have been promised a call back, however this has not happened and the response via their chat function on the website states this is due to workload".I am unable to arrange for the skirtings to be put back on as it seems likely the flooring will need to be taken back up again. What a fantastic service from start to finish.I am usually (admittedly) very hard to please and on this occasion I dealt with Billy from the Glasgow branch who was the the most knowledgeable and helpful person I think I have ever had the pleasuring dealing with. I told Billy my vision, colour scheme and some preferences, Billy then showed me several samples which he thought would match and every one of them matched. Once I decided on my chosen flooring, Billy never applied any pressure to make me purchase and instead made sure I was 100% sure, once sure Billy then arranged the sale to a suitable date around my schedule and put me in touch with some great fitters.Overall a fantastic service and experience.

I have been purchasing flooring from Direct wood flooring for a while now and couldn’t ask for a better company. Quick delivery, quality products and unbeatable prices! There is always someone on the other end of the phone to help. For me personally, I’ve been texting them to purchase all my flooring - it really is that easy!
