I never knew a Solicitor could lie so much and not follow through on promises not kept! Week after week we were promised information on deadlines and week after week these promises were never kept. Only after having to constantly call and email them would things actually get done. In fact the service was so disappointing and disrespectful it caused more anguish to what we were already having to deal with! Bottom line do not use!

Have had offers on our Flats over 6 months ago that we are selling . The solicitor doesn't answer emails and is really unhelpful and doesn't not give reasons why it is taking so long. The buyers are all ready to sign and the solicitor says she doesn't know anything about.Told us to use the management agency that she recommended as it would make it quicker.It seems that the solicitor is dragging it out, forgetting details and making mistakes.Can never get a straight answer to simple questions.Dreading the final bill as l bet the solicitor will be charging for all the mistakes and time wasting she has caused.At this rate our sellers are more likely to pull out of the sales because of how slowly our solicitor is going.When you do meet with them the solicitor is always checking out her watch every few minutes.

1 Star is too generous. I had the misfortune of SS working for the other side. The date for transfer of the property was agreed in a Court order. They received the money prior to the day agreed and then did not get their client to sign the transfer document or hand the keys over. It was a week after I paid the money before I was able to collect the keys. They didn't care, despite their client breaking a court order. It then transpired they had not ensured the transfer document was signed and witnessed correctly and refused to discuss this with my lawyers to get it sorted. After two years I went online to start a complaint (I knew they could do nothing as I was not the client but it got the matter in front of a senior partner and it was sorted). I turned out it was one of their staff had incorrectly witnessed the signature. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have used SS for a number of years for different areas of expertise. On the most recent occasion for litigation I was appalled by the service and cost. The two previous solicitors I had were excellent however they both have left the firm. That speaks volumes to me. I will certainly not be using them again.
