Rob took my 1950's Framus Archtop and, whilst keeping her antiquity, brought her to new condition. Re-set, new flat wounds and repaired the ancient pick up. Beautiful job!Rob's axe knowledge is paramount!

I’ve had several guitars to rob and each time they’ve come back fantastic. This guy is top top notch when it comes to guitars. I took my Little Martin LX1 to Rob as the action was high and it had poor sound and tone, and just wasn't fun to play. Rob has transformed the guitar tone/sound, and it's now playing like the Little Martin I thought I was initially buying. Action lowered, set up done, and new strings, all for a good price. I'm really happy and I highly rate the work that Rob has done - he's basically given me a new guitar!

I have been meaning to get my guitar set up for a while but with the pandemic and a few people waiting before me I had to be patient.After a lot of research and consideration I decided to use RLP to get my guitar set up.I have a custom shop fender Stratocaster 1965 and only wanted the best professional service and advice.Rob is the man and he explained the whole procedure.I left my guitar in the best hands for a few days and when I got it back it was absolutely perfect 100% .The difference from before and after was very evident and now it’s at its best it can be.I would highly recommend Rob to any musician, thanks again and keep up the good work.

My ‘82 Ibanez Rocket Roll needed fret work , a new matching front pickup , a general tidy and a set up . RLP came highly recommended and definitely lived up to my yet unknown expectations .Sterling work carried out by Rob gave my knackered old V a new sound and a new lease of life . The expert workmanship and attention to the smallest detail that was lent to my scabby old axe left it with a neck that feels like butter and a beautiful creamy tone . I would not hesitate to recommend RLP to anyone looking for a consummate professional luthier to revive old and make new sparkle with character . I don’t think I need to look further for a Liverpool based service .

Brought two neglected guitars in. An Ibanez acoustic that needed a setup and bridge repair and an Epiphone Explorer that needed replaced electronics and a new nut. They both now play great.Couldn't be happier with the results!
