Sarah was absolutely great on our family photo shoot on the beach and took some gorgeous photos for us. We could have been a challenging bunch with 3 babies/toddlers and a dog but Sarah made it feel fun and relaxed. She managed to capture sweet moments of parents and babies playing, as well take some lovely posed group shots. We all thoroughly enjoyed the shoot and are really pleased with the collection of photos. The photoshoot was a gift to my parents for their anniversary and I am so happy with the memories she has captured for us all. Couldn’t recommend more!

Our children bought a gift voucher as a Xmas present for my wife in 2020.We arranged to meet Sarah at Bamburgh for an informal family photo shoot. She struck up an immediate rapport with all of the family and skillfully captured the happy atmosphere of another joyous day at our favourite beach.The resulting web-based photo gallery is fantastic. It is easy to navigate and the download facility has proved invaluable.All of the family are delighted with the quality and content of the photos and my wife is now planning more of her 'craft-photo' albums as presents.We can certainly recommend Sarah Metcalf Photography to our friends.

Sarah photographed our small wedding - registry office, beach photos, pub - in June 2023 and she did an amazing job! In advance Sarah was communicative and helpful, making some great suggestions for where we could have our photos taken. On the day she was really friendly and professional, unobtrusive but always managing to capture the important moments - from the looks of our photos, you'd think she could be in two places at once! Neither my husband or I are particularly comfortable models, but Sarah put us completely at ease throughout the day. We are absolutely thrilled with our photos, and everyone we've shown them to (which is a lot of people) has commented on how gorgeous they are - I could not recommend Sarah enough.

We love Sarah's photos! We are so pleased with our wedding photos from Sarah. She caught so many special moments and her style is informal but highly professional. It was a pleasure to have her as part of our wedding day experience. She worked so hard on the day, got loads of details beforehand of what we wanted capturing and the quality of the photos is breath taking. We had a family photoshoot outdoors during Covid ! Sarah's approach to the session was fab - patient and relaxed (perfect when you have a 9 week old) . She was professional and friendly and the finished images are gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.
