Andrew was attentive from the offset and was very helpful, answered all the questions I'd asked and I ordered a wonderful pair of Walter & Herbert Stubbs frames, he was kind enough to upgrade my lenses as well, which was an unexpected addition to the already excellent service.He kept me informed throughout them being made and 24 hour recorded delivery was very speedy.Love my new glasses and thoroughly recommend POG and will definitely be a repeat customer.

I just got a pair of 100 year old vintage spectacles re glazed to my prescription, by Andrew, here. From my first contact through to me receiving my glasses back, the service and quality of workmanship was absolutely spot on. I cannot recommend Andrew highly enough, and will be using his services again whenever I can. A brilliant job, very reasonably priced, by a skilled independent craftsman. I am absolutely thrilled with my new glasses, made to my prescription and with my choice of colour for the transition lenses.After years of buying many £20 off the peg glasses which invariably broke, fell off my face, got easily scratched, last month I decided to invest in a “proper pair” from a high street opticians. I couldn’t decide between two frames (£129 and £199) and I choose the least expensive.Searching online I came across the more expensive frames at Prinog and ordered them a week ago; complete with prescription and transition lenses they have cost me £40. The customer service I have received has been excellent; prompt, friendly and professional and the glasses arrived very well packaged in their designer case. I really couldn’t be more pleased.Additional review. 7 May 2023.I made a repeat purchase a few days ago because I was so delighted with my first experience with this company.I cannot recommend Andrew highly enough, he is very professional, responds promptly and I am now the proud owner of another pair of designer prescription glasses with transition lenses which have cost me just £40. I have just checked an online/high street opticians and £179 is the price (including age and other discounts) for identical glasses and lenses. I’m a very happy buyer!

Leaving written feedback isn’t something I normally do. A thank you yes, but when a company goes further to help, well it’s very much appreciated.I had some great glass frames that I wanted to convert into Varifocals and ‘googled’ to see what was out there. I was very impressed and reassured by Andrew Griffiths and team at POG, the simple clear way of sharing my prescription and frames. In addition, they went out of their way to find new designer spectacles and added nice thin lenses that suit me perfectly. Really appreciate the professional service and will recommend to my friends.

Great service from Andrew. Very helpful through the whole process. Quick reglaze of glasses and the quality of the lenses is as good (if not better) than the high street at a fraction of the cost. I would definitely recommend if you need glasses reglazing.

ABSOLUTE BARGAIN! ignore all the other online optical companies. Why? None of them offer the highest quality varifocal lense at this price. I was given a Caledonian optical Arc steady 2.0 custom made varifocal lense. There is ZERO distortion in the side of the lense. I am wearing a Oakley Holbrook 55mm oversize lense with a medium wrap curve.Varifocals had me worried as i saw videos and pictures of having a narrow field of view even in the high end lenses. I simply do not see any with this lense. Adjustment is immediate, you simply don't feel any different from your single vision lenses.Absolute bargain price.
