During the coronavirus pandemic I accumulated a large amount of garden refuse whilst tidying up. I contacted this company who quoted me a very reasonable price to safely come to my property and collect the refuse and dispose of it. All safety guidelines were carried out above and beyond what was expected and I was extremely pleased with their service and would have no hesitation in recommending Green Welly Gardening Services.

We got quotes from two other companies and went with this company on the basis that their day rate was roughly in line with market rates but that they could start the work quicker. We expected them to price it up fairly and somewhat accurately based on experience. They quoted £1200 labour based on a £200 day rate.They actually worked 3.25 days in total, which means we actually paid £370 a day - that's a huge mark up and not at all in line with market rates.Despite the fact they took longer than they'd expected to finish the work, had to come back and do a repair, and the wall they built had very messy mortaring, there was absolutely no negotiating on the price.We have paid but are definitely not happy with the way this worked out.

Chris & his team completely removed the old rough ground in our garden - cut & removed all the old turfs, rotavated the whole area, topsoil it then laid new turf all in 3 days. Result, a beautiful level lawn. I can highly recommend Green Welly. Totally reliable, professional & courteous. Thank you.
