We employed Chippendale Roofing to re-roof my mother in laws house and fit new Velux windows. This was quite a large job on a 17th Century cottage. The price was competitive, and I was very pleased that they were able to re-use the stone on the roof rather than replacing with modern as some competitors wanted to.The work had to be booked 3 months in front, which was not an issue for us, and it's a good sign when a contractor is busy! They kept us updated as to start date and started when promised.The work was done efficiently and promptly. Whilst it has only been completed a couple of weeks ago, and we have had a heatwave since then, we have no reason to believe the work will be anything other than satisfactory.The scaffolding and skip were both removed within a couple of days of the work finishing.All in all, we were very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Chippendale Roofing.Comments from my mother-in-law:'Hard workers - no stopping for frequent tea breaks. No swearing - not in front of me anyhow, Yes they did have a radio but not played too loud. Turned up on time, cleaned up well at end of job. Even offered to clean inside my house.Skip went on day of completion and scaffolding 2 days after that. Very pleased with the work.'
