We had a great lunch here. Did a big walk beforehand to get there so had worked up an appetite. The portions were very generous. We had starters and mains both of which were absolutely delicious. Best food we’ve had in Shropshire so far! The pub has lots of character with tables in lots of little rooms. It has a really nice garden seating area and the toilets were very good. Nice beer and very friendly service.

Lovely food and drink sat outside in the sun with friends. Plenty of choice all round and fast service. Would be good if you could order via your phone scanning a QR code or table service as you have to go up and down to the bar every time you want something whether it be more drinks or different courses of food, but otherwise it’s lovely.

Lovely spot for food whilst on our canal boat holiday. About a 15 minute walk from where we moored. Beautiful food, good choice of ales and drinks, and friendly service. Toilets are really clean and lots of seating inside and out. We really enjoyed it.

Lovely to see the pub busy on a week day. Popped in for an early tea with the two dogs. Treated like royalty by the lovely Harriet, dog choccie buttons and biscuits along with a bowl of water. Food was gorgeous as always. Highly recommended!

Great pub friendly staff food is amazing but drinks overpriced as is common in the area dog friendly in certain areas great parking available and very clean, manager is excellent food is really good

We called here for dinner as we were passing through. Glad we stopped. Really lovely place to dine. We were made to feel very welcome. Good choice of meals. I had vegetarian Thai red curry. My friend had pie of the day. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

We visited here twice whilst staying at the Willenhall Way caravan site. It is a great pub with a good selection of beers and was very popular with the locals who were welcoming and friendly. It has a terrific beer garden and large car park. The staff were really polite and helpful. The food looked fantastic but unfortunately we only sampled a portion of chips but they were very good. It is also dog friendly. Overall a great local pub

Only stopped here for a drink on our way home after walking in Ellesmere, good choice . A lovely & popular place & my partner really liked his beer choice. We would definitely revisit when in the area in future
