Brand Biscuit

Working with Tom Carder and Christina Wilkins from Brand Biscuit was a pleasure from start to finish. As well as being friendly and welcoming to a fellow creative they were both excellent at communicating their ideas for the project and made me feel very much part of the team throughout the process.

Brand Biscuit's Brand DNA Workshop was an invaluable starting point to understand why branding is so important. Christina gave an accessible insight into branding in a relaxed and friendly group setting as well as providing real tools to take away to help you grow your own meaningful brand story. I left feeling inspired and ready to take on the challenge of launching my own small business idea.

Having worked with the Brand Biscuit team on a rebrand commissioned by our partners for Jabulani Coffee and seen the success of this story and sales of the product increase as a direct result, we asked Christina to present a brand DNA workshop for Owens Coffee to the senior management team.This workshop helped bring together all team members to understand what goes into growing the brand, with a clear connection between personal roles/teams and their own impact on and contribution towards brand value.Branding is such a fundamental core element of the marketing mix, and the DNA reaches so deeply, that all teams across the business need to feel confident about why they should, and how they can make it work. It has to flow through the processes and communications. An internal conversation wouldn't have been a clear, strong enough message at this time for us. Christina's credentials alone speak volumes, even before she begins to deliver the workshop - that is an important start for all involved.Christina made everyone in the room feel included – it was easy to follow, it was light-hearted and there were lots of great examples. By the end of the session the team not only had an understanding of how branding works, but (importantly) everyone had a better understanding as to how they are able to influence perception of our brand. What was gained was a sense of responsibility – everyone has their role to play. By the end of the session there was a sense of excitement and everyone wanting to play their role.The conversations started during the session were useful, challenging and engaging, and we felt that Christina's knowledge and passion guided those conversations so that we had answers and ideas, without going too far down one road or another, or taking us off on a tangent and leaking time from the important aspects.It only took a few of hours out of our normal routines, but this was a few highly valuable hours, very well spent!

I met Christina around 12 months ago through mutual friends, starting with a coffee (the best way to start conversation!) Christina has such amazing energy with an incredible drive for helping others, to where that coffee soon turned into collaboration.With Christina's brand knowledge and my media skillset, we knew that using our combined skills we could help anyone achieve their goal.As of December 2021, Christina saw the opportunity to help brands through bigger collaboration, and so myself along with 5 other creators joined partnership and collaborated with Christina in Brand Biscuit.Having Christina's brand knowledge and expertise really helps in creating a bigger and better partnership with our own clients, and the space she has offered us in Alma Yard is perfect in achieving the professional name we are all building.Me and Christina are now working on some of the biggest projects of my career through our collaboration, I'm excited to see where the next few years will take us.

From beginning to end my experience with Brand Biscuit was outstanding. Everything was so thorough and I'm thrilled with the results. Brand Biscuit Studio provides a plethora of awesome expertise including branding, illustration, graphic design, photography and much, much more. The studio itself is a sweet selection biscuit tin of talent run by branding expert, Christina Wilkins and based in the heart of Plymouth. A good bunch of creatives and highly trusted and recommended!

Brand biscuit kindly let me complete a work experience placement at their studio, they were a lovely group of people and were really willing to show me what they were working on, create a practice brief and give advice and tips about getting into the creative industry. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and it was really cool to work along side the artists :)
