Auto Shippers

It has been great working with the autoshippers staff. I’ve spoken with several employees over the past year, performing different functions such as quoting, logistics, insurance, etc, and have consistently gotten prompt, courteous response.Only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is because even though Autoshippers has a portal for encrypted uploads for sensitive documents, these same documents will inevitably be sent via unencrypted email to shipping partners. My hope is that security lapse will be corrected soon!

While there were a number of weather related delays. The communication was timely. Even when I could not get to Southampton during the delivery window, they were able to facilitate it. Their US Customs agent was equally efficient.

Very displeased with my first experience with this company. Not only did the total cost come to double the original quoted and agreed upon price due to their counterparts in the USA drumming up another thousand plus bill for offloading, something that should have been included, but they were weeks late departing and therefore have been charging storage fees now on the receiving end until I can arrange a new international travel plan to collect on their schedule due to not keeping the original agreed upon one… when asking for any help on these matters I was told tough luck…

I had a positive experience with Tom in sales and then Mark in ops. The car was collected as agreed and sailed and arrived on time. The communication from UK side was well above average.On a more sour note as seems to be a theme on the reviews here, the company dealings on the arrival end were poor, poor comms, misunderstandings and then broken promises regarding delivery. It would definitely pay dividends to find a decent company in UAE to handle stuff this end.What happened to me personally was I was told by the company this end that my car had arrived and I could take the delivery the next day, I proceeded to make arrangements to be fee of my work commitments to accommodate them and made a large payment for there services, only for them to call me the next morning to say we can’t get the car to you today and that it will be next week now and it’s not their fault.I was naturally outraged at the lies and broken promises, especially as I had messed my freind around who was going to handle the clearance for me, this company called me and said no sir we can do this very fast, you will have car tomorrow no problem.

Mixed feelingsI used Auto Shippers to ship my car from the UK to Cyprus. In the UK things went reasonably well. However, their partner company, the company they work within Cyprus is an absolute nightmare.Took them over a month to release my vehicle after the vessel arrived. Their partner company has misplaced my V5 logbook which they failed to communicate. In the end, I've got my car but without any paperwork. They even blamed me for not submitting it on time which was a lie. I handed all original documents as soon as the vessel arrived in Cyprus. Furthermore, I also had to pay extra for storage after they suddenly found my original logbook.  I am well aware that as a British company, your control is pretty limited over other overseas companies. However, it’s essential that you should choose your partner companies who are as equally professional as yourselves.My advice is this: Think carefully before you chose Auto Shippers should you want to ship your vehicle to Cyprus.

A very smooth experience, end-to-end - and excellent value. Autoshippers helped to ensure that all customs and EPA paperwork was correctly filed. The transit via RoRo from Southampton to Port Hueneme in California was surprisingly quick - a little over 3 weeks. I’ll definitely use the firm again to assist with shipping my car back.

Great experience. Courteous and prompt service from the team when I had any questions. My Landy was well taken care of from Southampton to San Diego!

Moved a classic car from the UK to Australia with these guys. Excellent service and communication. The car arrived in its own dedicated container in the same showroom condition that it was in when it left.

Shipped an Austin Healey Sebring Sprite from the UK to Colorado, USA. AutoShippers were very responsive, and shipping went without a hitch. Would definitely use them again.
