Absolutely appalling and disgusting behaviour from so called head Bishop or whatever( if only I could give zero stars). Gave a petty announcement to the bride and groom in front of 200+ guest about using recorded music to walk into( which he was fully aware of before hand) Extremely unprofessional!!! I would warn anybody off from this venue who values their family/guest experience. Never in my life have I seen such behaviour in a place of supposed god and holiness. The utter disrespect and disregard for someone’s BIG DAY! Was astonishing. The building is beautiful really really, honestly from the bottom of my heart I hope they find new ministers. Never been so disgusted in my life’s to the point we had to improvise a second ceremony at the reception!!?! Please whoever was in charger of the ceremony on 15/09/2018 From the bottom of my heart I hope you and all you love experience the burden and shame you’ve exhibited today. Truly a disgrace and utter shame to show yourself as to many believers and none believers in that light. Well done for creating a horrible memory engraved for the rest of our family’s lives.

I have just attended the appalling wedding ceremony at this church. The vicar was rude and very disrespectful to the couple and their guests. No welcome or introduction. He skipped 5 items from the order of service and went straight to the wedding vows. To make things even worse the bride was left to keep her veil on whilst she signed the register. He didn't have the decency to introduce the couple as husband and wife, let alone kiss the bride. Rating for the building.

Beautiful church in the centre of the idyllic St. Augustine's conservation area, a leafy suburb of Edgbaston that's so quiet you wouldn't believe is less than a mile from the city centre. We don't go to church often, but when we do services are diverse, inclusive and reflective. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews about a bad wedding day, i don't believe this was the churches regular Vicar (Matthew), who's a lovely guy.

St Augustine church is celebrating 150 years of the present building. It is a beautiful old traditional Church. If you want to experience a good old type of Mass with a Choir and hyms that is not the Happy clappy then it is well worth a visit. For visitors to Birmingham the Sunday Mass starts at 10.30am .

In a tranquil spot amongst quiet suburban houses and gardens. The interior is majestic and fabulous, in the true sense of the word. Behold and be amazed.

A lovely church. The architecture speaks for its long history. The ambience is very serene and holy. I really enjoy visiting the church. It's well over 150 years old. Evidently, it has been kept and maintained very well.

Lovely church, with really good services. The beautiful architecture speaks for its long history. The ambience is very serene, and holy. I really enjoy visiting the church. You can pray peacefully. The pastor is very nice and friendly, too.

It's a beautiful church with all the original widows & interior features but never bloody open. Such a shame that this apparent Christian country has lost its Christianity...I'm not religious but I do miss the traditional Christmas & Easter get together. It's a shame visitors can't get to visit our amazing churches cuz they r closed

I attended a wedding here. An absolutely beautifully historic large church. Both the exterior & interior are divine. Beautiful architecture and stained glassed windows. The gardens and immediate surroundings are also really nice, a perfect location for your dream wedding.

This morning was an interesting and enjoyable Communion service. It is a very high church, with lots of things going on, including incense. Matthew, the Vicar, gave us a very warm welcome. Afterwards we stayed for coffee. Here are some photos.
