Surrey Dog School

Really happy with the two puppy courses I did with Surrey Dog School. I have a happy dog who is well behaved when we go out walking. I feel confident in using commands and my puppy is socialising well with both people and other dogs. Would recommend to all new dog owners to get your relationship with your pet on a calm and positive footing.

I cannot recommend Surrey Dog School highly enough. As the owner of a new puppy, they have helped me so much with training. I have attended group classes and also one to one sessions and the standard of training and understanding the behaviour of dogs is to a very high standard. All staff are really helpful and show such passion for what they do. I don't think you could find better! Thank you to all of the team.

Absolutely great I have a 4 month old Shitzu She has improved in all ways since attending both the puppy training, and the puppy socialisation classes .She now walks beautifully in the lead, comes when called and sits . The best part is that she loves it She can’t wait to get in to the building and scratches at the door to be let in .The staff are amazing Every single one of them are so helpful if you have any problems and also so kind and loving to the dogs. It’s easy to see my puppy loves them All the training is gentle reward based and worksI would highly recommend this school and I will definitely continue with both of her classes as I think both my puppy and I are benefitting hugely from it

Emma and the rest of the team have been absolutely great training our young GSD. They are caring, very knowledgable and professional. We completed the puppy course and the follow-on course and we will be starting scent work sessions with him. Kobe is always so excited and willing to learn when he is at Surrey Dog School. Highly recommend to all dog owners!

I've been working with Sarah and Louisa for a few months now. I have a beautiful support dog in training. I'm autistic and really needed exceptional, professional and effective training. They deliver. Their talent in training is backed by a genuine love of dogs. Such a contrast with some of the other 'factory farm' training places. I wouldn't even consider anyone else.

Sarah and Louisa are life savers! We rescued Penny the beagle and quickly got in touch with Surrey Dog School to help us train Penny and sort out some particularly disruptive behaviours. From the off Sarah and her team have been friendly, proffesional and really helpful. Sarah called me to discuss options and get to know what we required. Even on that first fact finding call she was peppering the conversation with supportive tips that meant we could work on improving Penny's behaviour immediately.The service we have had has been above and beyond on multiple occasions. Be it phone calls when we were in crisis mode, to helping us in the pet food shop to try out different treats, chews and rewards to support the training. They look at the whole picture, from the food, treats, environment, walks and more - enabling a really focused bit of training.Their support and guidance gave us the confidence to know that her disruptive behaviour could be trained out and that there was light at the end of the tunnel! We've been able to see Penny blossom into an adorable, cheeky beagle.The one-to-one training sessions have been highly customised to Penny's needs, and we learn so much in that time. Afterwards the sessions are followed up with detailed notes, and exercises to continue improving penny's behaviour - and they work, really well!The whole team clearly care about dogs, and the service they provide - they're non-judgemental, supportive and really champion positive reinforcement, watching them work is really quite amazing - they get the best out of the dogs, and us owners too!

Surrey Dog School have been a game changer, we've been taking our puppy for months now and continually see great improvements. The staff are all lovely and really care, facilities are great and well maintained, and prices are very reasonable. We've attended group classes and one-on-one sessions and have had great experiences with both. Highly recommended, thanks to Emma and all the staff members who continue go above and beyond for our pup!
