I was desperate to have the noise from an upstairs family with two hyperactive children reduced. After consulting I decided to have my bedroom and lounge fitted with a special sound reduction which would lower my high ceilings. The company was brilliant, friendly, professional and honest... Something that's really important with this type of work. Highly recommended.

After moving into my new flat, it didn’t take long to realise there was a terrible problem with excessive noise coming from the flat above. We received two quotes to install soundproofing to our bedroom ceiling, one company notably came down from London. We decided to go with the The Soundproofer who are a local enough firm, they seemed very professional and the quotes were detailed. Upon installation the guys were polite, knowledgable, and professional throughout. We’re both happy with the reduction in noise, that's for sure. It initially felt expensive, but working from home is a lot less noisy than it used to be and for that I’m incredibly grateful for their high standard of work. Can't recommend enough.

One company notably came down from London, but we decided to go with the ‘Thesoundproofer’ who were a local firm. The guys were polite, knowledgable, and professional throughout. I’m happy with the reduction in noise, it was expensive, but working from home is a lot less noisy and for that, I’m grateful.

My wife and I were having problems with noise on one side of the house. We live in a mid terraced 1930’s house and next door is a student let. Initially we got the bedroom wall soundproofed, then moved on to bedroom 2, lounge and dining room.The installers were friendly, quick, and tidy throughout…we enjoyed their company and actually it was quite fun working at home whilst they were installing.The soundproofing has made a great difference to us with two young twins for us getting rest when we can is essential, so we saw it as a good investment. The neighbours have commented that they can't hear the twins now either... So everyone is happy!
