I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Ubaid. He is the consummate medical professional and equally an incredibly good person.Under extreme stress as a result of some recent cardiac issues, I was fortunate to consult with Dr. Ubaid. He is without question the best medical specialist I have ever had the privilege of meeting in 52+ years. Bringing genuine compassion, empathy and absolute subject matter expertise in cardiology, Dr. Ubaid was tirelessly patient and reassuring at a time of crisis, and critically was able to accurately diagnose the medical issues I had been experiencing. I saw Mr Ubaid last week regarding an echocardiogram result which I was worried about. I was very impressed! He combines an obviously deep knowledge of his subject with a gentle, wise and reassuring manner. I feel lucky to have chosen him as my private consultant and hope that medical students at my old university (where he lectures) are suitably appreciative of him!

In 2022, I relocated to Cheltenham from Windsor, and it was during this time that I experienced an arterial fibrillation episode. This health crisis necessitated my hospitalization at Cheltenham General Hospital, where I received exemplary care and treatment. Normally, based on my prior experiences with similar episodes, I expected to be discharged within two or three days. However, this time, the situation took a different turn.To my surprise, the head of the coronary department informed me that a highly respected and skilled consultant had taken a keen interest in my heart issues. He intended to conduct comprehensive research and arrange a series of tests. Shortly thereafter, he visited me once more and patiently explained that my previous open-heart surgery had not yielded the desired results. Despite this news, he assured me not to be concerned as he was determined to rectify the situation in the coming days.And true to his word, he did just that! This incredible individual goes by the name of Dr. Salahaddin Ubaid, a name that draws inspiration from two of the greatest warriors in Middle Eastern history. In my eyes, he has become my personal warrior, as he successfully mended my broken heart. I extend my heartfelt thanks and eternal gratitude to Dr. Salahaddin Ubaid on behalf of myself, Dawn Farmer, and my entire family.

My first, and hopefully my only visit to see Dr Salahaddin Ubaid, this meant in the nicest possible way of course.I was given a very thorough examination and subsequent discussion by Dr Ubaid where he explained everything very well. Fortunately no surgical intervention needed. I would also highly recommend his website with some very good videos on staying heart healthy.His staff were also very kind and supportive.

Not only is Dr Ubaid an extremely kind and genuine person who listens and understands patients’ anxiety, he is a competent, compassionate and professional cardiology Consultant. He immediately put me at ease during my first consultation, when carrying out investigations and when attending a follow-up appointment for my results. Dr Ubaid was generous with his time in explaining my condition and the cause of symptoms and very reassuring. Always caring and professional, he treated me as an individual. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Doctor Salahaddin Ubaid saved my life three months ago when he operated on me as an emergency patient having a heart attack.He is not only a highly skilled Consultant Cardiologist but is simply a wonderful human being.His interactions with myself and my family during my time both in and out of hospital exuded confidence,honesty,professionalism and,above all,trust.Few people have all of these qualities.They,together with his personable nature,are a credit both to him and his profession.A truly remarkable gentleman who has made a huge difference to us.

Can't recommend Dr Ubaid enough. I left my appointment feeling listened to, and most importantly, not dismissed. He alleviated most of my fears and was able to explain in great detail the mechanisms that could be causing my issues. I felt extremely comfortable in his care and I'd recommend him to anyone.
