Amazing views, great experience for everyone whether you go as a couple, with friends or family. You can go one way or have a round trip.Oyster works but if you want a round trip they may you go back out and check in again. So you may want to purchase the ticket from the booth if you just want to stay in the cart for the return journey.

We went just for the tour to enjoy the view. It is an excellent attraction on top of being a very practical way to cross the Thames river in this area.

It’s a nice activity to do if you’re in East London (I recommend going for this as part of a visit to Greenwich - the park, the observatory, the market; you can take the ferry to North Greenwich). You can tap in and out if you want a one way ride or you can buy a ticket for the round trip. Nice views of the city from the top. They give you a personal cabin depending on the number of people in your group.

Londoner. Still resent that this ‘privately funded’ cable car ended up costing Londoners 60 million quid. That said, it’s a nice view and a pleasant experience. Getting on and off is easy and there are lifts for those that need it.If you want to go on the Thames Clipper boat service to get to the o2 from the central zone, you can get a combined cable car and Thames clipper return ticket for £31- a very big saving.

Good views, rode on a windy/rainy day so not great, but can appreciate on a good day, the views would have been amazing. Did expect the cars to be a little bigger - seems to seat 6 at most.Great and quick way of getting to Excel from the O2 rather than tube/DLR. Especially if parking at the O2 - carparks 2 and 3 are right by the station. There can be queues on busy days.

What a great experience! I found out about this gem when booking the Uber boat. Reasonably priced and a comfortable ride. Will definitely return! May want to update the stickers inside as it shows a woman drinking when it also has a variety of warning signs including no drinking.

Amazing views and such a good idea to see at least some part of London from the top of London! It’s a small walk from the tube & easy to find. We got in an Uber boat and got down at North Greenwich. I absolutely loved the ride. It’s a must try,on a sunny, warm day. The scenery from the cable car is amazing. The river looks very big and dangerous as it will be quite high. At one stage the car will stop for a few seconds in the middle journey that time you see the real beauty of the cable car. Not much rush for collection of tickets even on holiday and weekend but it will be a very big queue to get inside the cable car. One point to note washroom only 1 is there so will take time for that also make a note. Make sure to take a round trip ticket not a single ticket way, because it will take much time again to get in the cable car. A must try for London visitors !!!

Just like the other side of this, Royal Docks, this was such a great place to visit as well because we had a round trip ticket. Lovely views all around once you're up there. The only part of this experience that's not enjoyable is the queue during the peak period. So, to circumvent that, you either get a fast-track ticket or you visit at off-peak period. Parking here is not a nightmare like Royal Docks because there is actually plenty of paid parking. You can also take public transport because North Greenwich station is just outside. The nightmare comes when you have come here by car and you're now heading out, OMG, you would be better off walking. I've not been in a standstill traffic in a gazillion years, but I wanted to cry with this one. We were stuck in North Greenwich for over an hour. We had only moved a couple of yards from the car park. It was not fun. So again, I'd say, if you're visiting this area by car for a day trip on a weekend, either dont drive coming in or leaving at peak period. The cable car is also located opposite the amazing O2 Peninsula, which has lots of places to see and restaurants to eat, etc. We literally spent the whole day here.I enjoyed taking a ride in the cable car. It's my 3rd time in the last 8 years, I believe, and I have enjoyed each time, but I shall never be driving next time. The heartache was not worth it.
