Number wan Somali food place in London...maybe the UK, only place that could be better is home cooking, but it'll give you a run for your money!EDIT: management has taken a turn for the worse, prices have gone up twice, the free vimto is no longer a thing, and most days there is no banana with your meal, you no longer get value for your money, which is sad because because the chef here makes amazing food. Management needs to wake up!!

Best authentic Somali cuisine in London. Had for dinner great tasting yummy two dishes one beef steak with spaghetti another beef sugaar with rice and spinach with a banana each plus two cans of fizzy drink all for £21.

My new favourite place to eat! The portions are big, the food is fresh and served piping hot. It's very healthy as well (i went for the beef steak with rice and spinach with a diet coke...only cost £8 in total). The man who runs the place is very welcoming and generous. He saw I had a lot of meat still left on my plate and so asked if I wanted more rice - no extra charge! This place is one of London's undiscovered gems!

Incredible. Some of the tastiest food I've had in a long time and friendly service! First time trying Somali food! I went in to get something for takeaway and mentioned I've never been there before, I was recommended the lamb shank with rice and wow. It was roasted to perfection, super tender (falls off the bone) and cooked with the most delicious spices. The chilli sauce that came with it is SO good. Very reasonable prices too. There is nothing left on my plate but the bone! Definitely will be back. Highly recommend.

My daughter and i love the food at Banaadiri. The portions are perfect for us to share a plate.The gentleman that works there is so polite and generous to us. Sometimes i like the look of a dish but do not know how it tastes so he brings little bowls over for us to try. If he see's we are running out of rice... he will ask if we would like a little more.The price of the food is so reasonable also. We look forward to visiting again very soon!

I went there to try the ethnic food. It's Somalia style. Taste good but it's a little plain and rough. Good for an adventure but don't expect too much.
