Pynes House

We couldn’t ever imagine a more perfect venue for our wedding in October 2018. Upon our first visit to Pynes house, we rounded the corner making our way down their iconic drive and we knew then and there, this was the place! Beyond being an absolutely gorgeous setting for our big day, the whole team (special shout out to Kate and Jo) ensured the day was absolutely perfect! We could sit back and live in the moment, knowing that the day would run smoothly with our dream team working hard behind the scenes.We used the ballroom for our ceremony, the rose garden for our reception and had a marquee in the field out back for the reception!We loved that we had exclusive hire of the l venue for the whole weekend, meaning we didn’t have to rush setting up or taking things down.We look forward to returning for a future anniversary celebration with friends and our growing family!

We had our wedding here last week and it was a truly stunning venue. A big selling point for us were the extensive grounds, but the inside was spacious and comfortably elegant so we had the best of both worlds.We had a more unusual wedding, and Pynes House were fantastic in being flexible and taking it all in their stride. We had specific caterers we wanted as all the food was vegan, and unlike other venues we didn't have to use in-house caterers. We were free to use our own photographers, bakers etc too. We had a pirate-themed wedding and wanted lots of outdoor activities including a treasure hunt, and Pynes House were kind enough to allow us to visit a few times in the run-up to the wedding and wander around the grounds, deciding where to put clues. They also allowed dogs on the grounds which really helped some guests.The accommodation was amazingly luxurious, and it was a real treat staying the nights before and after the wedding. Because we were doing a lot ourselves it was great to set everything up on the previous day so that on the day of the wedding there wasn't much we had to do.Whenever we sent an email Heather or Kate would answer as helpfully as possible, and didn't seem to mind how many questions we asked! They were kind enough to give us the use of a microwave for a guest to heat up baby formula. The venue coordinator, Jo, was fantastic and made everything on the day run so smoothly! Together with the caterers anything that needed doing was done without us even needing to be aware of it, from setting out chairs for the ceremony to clearing away tables after the meal and carefully placing all the table decorations on the mantelpiece to make a display.We really can't thank you enough for making our day so wonderful.

We booked Pynes House as our wedding venue without having visited, so that made it all the more sweeter when we showed up and it felt like we walked into a fairy tale. The house is spectacular and the grounds were absolutely beautiful with the colorful gardens and the rolling hills in the background. We had an amazing sunny day one night and a rainy day another night, but regardless of the weather conditions, the venue's charm shone through. It was also incredibly fun to have our closest friends and family staying under one roof for the entire weekend. We couldn't imagine a better venue and location and we're so happy we chose it sight unseen!Our day-of planner, Natalie, was amazing, too. We talked through our vision with her, and when the weekend arrived, she executed it perfectly. We didn't have to worry about anything, which allowed us to fully enjoy our weekend.Thank you to Pynes House for giving us some of our best memories! We hope to get back some day.

There is not enough good I can say about Pynes House, its staff, or the people who own it. Not only is it the most beautiful and magical place you'll come across, it's run and managed by the kindest people. If you can believe it, it's even better in person than in any photo. My husband and I went through a lot to finally have our wedding here. We live in the US, and I thought planning a wedding overseas would be extremely challenging to begin with, but Pynes House always had amazing recommendations, helpful tips, and did everything they could personally to support us. We were supposed to get married in July 2022, but the week we were set to fly out for our wedding I had to have emergency open heart surgery and our wedding was cancelled on extremely short notice. Not only did Pynes House express sympathy and understanding, they worked tirelessly with us to finally make our wedding happen this past June. They were kind, caring, incredible. Phoebe never left my side and made me feel like I was there with a best friend. If you want an incredibly beautiful place, arguably one of the most beautiful places on Earth, to get married - this is it. (The rooms all thoughtful and stunning, views, gardens, fountain - it's magic and a fairytale). If you want a venue run by people who care about you and your life and your day - there isn't anywhere better. We will always be thankful <3

Pynes House is just magical. We had the most amazing wedding here. The bedrooms are of hotel quality, the house is kept to such fantastic standards and the team are so amazing! Phoebe and the team went above and beyond to make our day so special! We are so looking forward to coming back from time to time to see where we had the best day of our lives ! Pynes house was our first venue that we saw for our wedding. We knew it was perfect from the moment we set eyes on it. We cannot thank Pynes house enough for hosting what was the best day of our lives. Stunning in every aspect, this wedding venue totally blew away all of our guests. No need to over do decorations - the house itself was the centre of it all. We had the most beautiful drinks reception in the rose garden, accompanied by a saxophonist. The amount of comments we had on our choice of venue was unbelievable! Kate, Heather and their team at Pynes house have been nothing short of exceptional, answering any queries we had even through what is probably the busiest time for them as COVID 19 comes to a potential end (hopefully!).We will always be grateful for the memories created at Pynes house. Pynes House....A venue that feels totally perfect. It is grand and exquisite and all at the same time so personal and beautiful in size. It's a house that becomes your own for the weekend and one that so perfectly fits everyone in it that you want to celebrate with in a lovely amount of space. It is beautiful in style, atmosphere and feel and it is a venue we feel so blessed to return to and to shoot at. The team are gorgeous and Pickle Shack, the resident caterers produce the BEST food. Pynes House is a place you go to and don't forget. It holds a piece of our hearts and we adore it.

We had our wedding at Pynes house in July 2017. The venue was truly beautiful, including the bedrooms which made getting ready for the wedding even more special. The best thing about Pynes was being able to make the venue our own.Jo and Kate were fantastic in answering any questions and making sure the day went smoothly. They were great in recommending reliable suppliers who had been to Pynes previously.We had a truly amazing day, even the rain could not dampen the party spirit! Our guests all noted how fabulous the venue was.If only we could go back and do it all again! Thank you again Pynes house for helping us have the best day ever!

We fell in love with Pynes House the second we arrived. Her passion and dedication to her work shines through in everything she does, and we felt so lucky to have her looking after us on the day. It was clear that she cared so much about making sure we had a memorable day, and took all of our stresses and worries away.It truly was a fairytale wedding for us, made possible by the most beautiful setting and the most amazing team working behind the scenes to make everything perfect. I first saw Pynes House 3 years prior to getting married there, and I knew straight away that it was just the dream venue!!The most stunning wedding venue in such a gorgeous part of the country. Thank you SO much much Pynes for making all our wedding dreams come true. Everything was simply beautiful, from the venue and gardens, to the amazing team working there, the dreamy bedrooms to stay in - it truly felt like a fairytale to stay there for our wedding period. The colours and decor are beautiful classic and stylish, with such a lightness and beauty everywhere you look. It was an extra special touch to to able to stay for 2 nights/3 days as it made it feel like home for us. We loved the team there, both the Pynes ladies (Shout out to Jo who was INCREDIBLE and to Kate who was the loveliest host) and the pickle shack team (The wonderful Anna!)...what gorgeous people to have making our wedding day happen! Pynes House is simply breathtaking - thank you thank you, thank you!!!!
