I had suffered a concussion playing American football that had prevented me from working towards my studies in my final year of my degree and was causing significant physical problems for me for months.Helen and Toni were incredibly helpful in fixing the vestibular issues I was suffering from that was causing constant nausea as well as helping to plan my return to activity and work. MWith their support I was able to plan my time effectively to complete my dissertation and get my degree without delaying a year or worsening my symptoms. They also planned my return to exercise so I been able to return to sport with no problems.I could not recommend them highly enough.

This team have been fantastic helping me recover from concussion. I hit my head at the end of June, no concerns at A&E, no loss of consciousness but developed concussion symptoms resulting in 2 weeks rest then a 3 week ramped return to work after which I struggled for 3 weeks with worsening symptoms (especially headaches) and ended up having another 4 weeks off. I knew that I didn't want to repeat the same mistake and I needed help to get a better successful return to work the second time around instead of yo-yo-ing in and out of work. I'd researched concussion online and came across this idea of concussion physiotherapy and I felt this was what I needed and I found Concussion Rebalanced. Working on a combination of both the mental and physical aspects of my concussion this team helped me do exactly what was needed that I couldn't do on my own. Tailored regular remote sessions with a clear focus on recovery and building on a learning curve of improvement and occasional setbacks has got me back successfully and reliably into full time work three months later. It hasn't been cheap to do but it has been very effective and well worth the money, time and commitment. I have got back to work, kept my job, got my energy back and got my life back on track, that to me is priceless.
