Very good experience so far. User friendly app, high interest rate paid out monthly,, verification and response time has been reasonable. Had no issues transferring large amounts to another account, the transfer was briefly briefly frozen but verification was approved within minutes (on a Sunday).

Wow I needed to change the email address on my account. Anyone would think I was accessing nuclear launch codes. Every other bank and financial institution I am engaged with changed the email address no fuss and simple in execution. Kroo wanted passport details again a selfie and inside leg measurements it seems. Might be a good rate but the customer engagement is poor also their promotions if you win you have to register with some third party business that you have to pay to do so that then activates the fraud protection measures on my card provider - seriously bank elsewhere Starling or Chase are better service providers Kroo no thanks

Loving this bank so far. App is easy to use. I've put my savings in and get a good return on interest. Much more than I was previously getting. Had no issues taking money out either.

My experience differed from others. Initially, I was skeptical about the bank, so I conducted a few test transactions to deposit and withdraw money. Everything was smooth and instantaneous at first, prompting me to deposit £60k. While the £200+ interest pleased me, I was alarmed when my first large withdrawal was put on hold for a security check. It took a day to clear, but I was eventually able to access my funds. Later withdrawals were instant. The absence of a customer number during that initial hold did concern me.

Signed up for £10 amazon giftcard. I have not recieved this after signing up 4 months ago. I have been chasing the reward for over 2 months with customer service. Staff have stated that i will recieve the reward after 7 - 14 days after every time i contact somebody. After everytime i do not recieve the giftcard i will re-contact and the process will continue to repeat.Low accountabilty for staff to resolve requests as they don't see anything through. Due to my experience I feel that the giftcard is a scam to get people to sign up. I have low confidence in the brand due to poor support and inability to resolve simple request.

Customer service sucks!They make carrying out simple tasks intentionally difficult. Other financial companies will make it easy to complete tasks, Kroo will make it difficult.Try Chase if you need a banking app. Don't rely on Kroo.I closed my account with them...they make that easy

Scammers locked me out of my account been 10 Months so far lucky I only had £200 was jn the process of transfering my money to my main high street bank and got locked out. Had 20 chats with customer service (Only available contact option) They send A.I replys and do not follow up. SCAMMER BANK

It took Kroo more than 28 days to act on my complaint (even though they initially advised 28 days).When I eventually got an answer (after chasing and posting comments on their social media), I was told that the referral bonus of £5 wouldn’t be paid.I made a genuine mistake and used my two email addresses when creating my account with them.They said that as a goodwill gesture my bonus would be paid, however, my boyfriend (who referred me to Kroo), hasn’t been paid.We are not claiming anything that is not due to us. I proved that the two email addresses are mine and I claimed a £5 bonus for my boyfriend and one for myself (2 bonus in total, as advertised by Kroo).What I do think is wrong is that you use an excuse not to pay the £5 bonus due to my boyfriend.Word of mouth is what usually works best and I have nothing positive to say about your company and customer experience. I am also very pleased to leave one star and a negative review about the service provided!It’s not about the insignificant £5 bonus (that is due to my boyfriend), this is about your lack of care and respect towards your clients.

I've been with Kroo now for about 5 months and must say that my experience has been different to many of the reviewers. Messages have been quickly responded to and any issues equally swiftly resolved. The interest rate offered is excellent and the app is of a similar standard. I hope those who have had concerns get them resolved and I wonder if the sheer volume of new accounts opened has impacted on customer service levels a little?
