Great art shop to browse and buy in, but I went for really inspiring one day art course in the little classroom at the back. And enjoyed a delicious sandwich for lunch from the shop next door!

Very well stocked art shop with space to browse & lovely environment. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Many interesting and varied art classes held with excellent tutors. Well worth stocking up with art materials and you can buy online once you have found that special item.

Excellent shop for most arts & craft needs. Have bought several paint brushes, paints and papers from them. All reasonably priced. They are also very friendly and happy to advise if you are unsure of the best or most appropriate products for your project.

I stopped in today for the first time and I absolutely love the new location! I wish I were an artist, but alas, I am not. However, I do take my embroidery and such in for framing and have never, ever been the least bit disappointed. I think the layout is fabulous, the lighting is perfect, the wall sign is the best and says it all - eclectic but classy. And the floor - the floor adds so much character and speaks of long history. Wonderful in every way.

As an artist I feel completely spoilt having such a wonderful shop in my locality. A vast variety of art mediums all carefully chosen for quality and reasonable prices. Sue is also a great help for people starting out on their art journey, she helped me immensely in my early art days with great advice about what I needed (and also what I didn’t need). She has a legion of loyal customers (me included), which says it all really. The online shop is also well stocked and easy to use. Highly recommended.
