Firstly, it was great to get a tradesman who was easy to get hold of and would get back to you in a timely manner.A small alcove cabinet and some floating shelves were built, and skirting fitted.He came when he said he would, did what he said he would, kept us informed and did a good job.As Dave is just starting out on his own, he perhaps underestimated the timescale a little, but as mentioned, he kept us informed and his price was still very good.Overall, we were very happy with the workmanship and price, and would not hesitate to use him again.

We asked for bespoke storage to be designed and built for the hallway, specially for coats and shoes. The design and build were exactly what we were looking for, as was the personal service when finding out the wood / colours options available etc.We will certainly be using Meakin Joinery again.

David made and fitted alcove shelving units for us. We discussed the design throughout the build and he provided practical advice on what would work best. We are so pleased with the final product, they look fantastic. The place was left spotless after the work was completed. Will definitely use again.

Contacted David after reading positive reviews on his website. I commissioned him to design and create an ‘honour board’ for our golf club to list our junior club champions. From first contact with David to delivery of the board, the service was first class. The design and quality of finish was exactly what we were looking for and at a price we were more than happy with. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone and would definitely use his services again.

I would highly recommend David for any joinery work. He designed and built bespoke shelving for a spare room and I am really pleased with the outcome. He was highly professional, reliable and communicated with me throughout. The build is of high quality and it is clear to see the care that has gone into it. David left the room absolutely spotless when he finished. Safe to say I will be glad to use his services again in the future!

David worked with us to come up with a bespoke design for very tall wardrobe doors. They turned out much better than we anticipated. He turned them around in a short timeframe and cleaned up after he’d finished the job. We would definitely recommend using his services.

We commissioned David to create a window seat, a fitted wardrobe and some bookshelves. He did a great job, and they all look fantastic - the quality of his workmanship is excellent and he was a pleasure to deal with. I’d highly recommend if you need some bespoke joinery.

I would highly recommend David of Meakin Joinery. We had some cabinets and window seat made for us in a newly rennovated porch and could not be happier with the finished result. The quality of the work is really excellent as was the way David conducted himself - always on time and kept the workspace tidy and clear at the end of each day. Would not hesitate to approach David again for work in the future!

David was on time, worked within the estimated cost and timeframe, before leaving the place in a good state. He did a great job and charged a fair price. What's more, he was extremely flexible with arranging the work and was great about keeping in touch. I would for sure hire him again.
