Sonata Piano & Cabaret Lounge
Absolutely lovely little venue, lovely staff and great performers here. Went here for an evening event with a production company performing. Enjoyed the entertainment and staff were friendly throughout the night. The only downside was the seats aren't that comfortable and it's quite expensive.

Sonata Piano & Cabaret Lounge
We went here as part of our work Christmas Party and had the most amazing and memorable night. We absolutely loved it. One of our colleagues even ended up on stage singing with the performer. The bar looks like it's right out of the end of La La Land and just the kind of place Manchester needs. I highly recommend. Please go. I can't wait to go back, not least for the Sonata Negroni, which was lovely.

Sonata Piano & Cabaret Lounge
We attended for a caberet evening. The venue is intimate and comfortable , tables all have a good view of the stage. There is enough room between each table not to feel cramped. Water and pretzels on each table is a great touch.as the evening moved on the air conditioning meant it got a bit chilly. The staff were really friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait long to replenish our drinks which were not extortionate.

Since opening in June I have been many times to this bar. The staff are amazing and so welcoming. The lounge has comfortable seating and service to your table. A variety of Live act every night so there is also something different every time I go. Great drinks and just a lovely night had each time I have been. Don’t miss out of this Manchester secret hot spot.

Had 15-16/09 in Manchester for theatre but didn't find this place until 16/09. What a fantastic place. 3 acts on Sat night, missed the first act and half of the second but the rest of the night was brilliant, music, staff, atmosphere. If you like live music, a mixture of Jazz, modern (Billy Joel, Meatloaf, Neil Diamond, etc) on Sat it was mainly piano based, then this place is a must. We will be going again when in Manchester.

Four of us popped in here midweek to watch an act. It was nice and cosy and the staff looked after us really well. I think we paid £4 each to enter which I thought was reasonable for the quality of the singer and musician playing.

Hidden gem! Went here on a whim and was not disappointed. Very relaxed atmosphere, staff were really friendly & helpful and the acts were great. Will definitely be returning when back in Manchester.

It's a really excellent place to unwind and listen to the fabulous music of many varieties. The staff are joyful, attentive and friendly. Never had a bad evening here and anyone we've introduced to Sonata has loved it! If you want to feel looked after and enjoy an alternative evening of music and song, go here!

It’s a lovely place to see artists, but the service could be better. Waiters constantly come over and push you to drink more, and the drinks are already ridiculously overpriced. One one occasion, the same waitress came over thrice within 10 minutes to ask if we wanted anything else to drink… it would be nice if they could let people enjoy the concerts more (which you already need to pay for anyway before entering the venue) than be pushy with drinks.
