Blackpool Victoria Hospital - Main Entrance Car Park

Ridiculous there's a height restriction EVEN to get to the outside parking (for some reason you have to drive under the parking building to get to it) so if you only have a van or other vehicle with height you've nowhere to go. The only place you have a shot at parking is at A and E (good luck with that) and its not simple to get around to the main entrance or other specific buildings due to the mental layout of the buildings and lack of directions. Need to have another entrance to the outside parking so height restricted vehicles have a place to go honestly baffled as to why its even there if not for this exact reason.

Friendly, clean and welcoming. Plenty of staff willing and ready to help all patients and visitors.

No closing of car park when all spaces taken!!! I was in the car on my own having collected my token as I drove in, at this point I was 30minutes before my appointment time, spent 20 mins driving around the car park with another 15 cars trying to find a space. At this point I want to get out, but I'm on my own and need to get to the ticket machine to get a token to get out, but I CAN'T as there are no spaces to park the car to get my token!!!!!!! I spent 40 mins in total in the car park, then I parked in front of the lifts where you are not meant to park and banged on my hazard as I dashed to the ticket machine. Once downstairs I noticed the office was manned and explained my dilemma, was told they CANNOT close the car park as it backs up traffic onto Whinney Heys Road. You need a better system than having more cars in the car park than spaces. I return home having missed my appointment and tried telephoning BVH to apologise and explain only to be number 11 in the queue, do you think we were all trying to get through after a car park debacle. I GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!

Poor parking management. When spaces run out, they don’t appear to have the ability to stop cars entering the car park (as it blocks up the road entering). Seems to be the same everyday around 1-2pm. There doesn’t appear to be any appetite to fix this (street signage etc). If you have an appointment around this time, best if you can get someone to drop you off instead.

Some staff need to read notes of patients before sending them to walk in center. Only to be send back by a very annoyed doctor saying why hasn't this patient had a CT scan to see internal bleeding due to her fall and being on blood thinner tablets

If I could give minus stars for car park security staff I would. The parking was £2 50, which was quite reasonable I initially thought. I paid by card and it charged me £3, never informed me of this.I waited for my token to come back out of the machine. It didn't but it printed a receipt off, so I thought this would be sufficient to get back out. Arrived at the barrier and buzzed security. What a lovely, helpful, charming man he was (NOT).I tried to explain what had happened but that I had a receipt to prove I had paid. My response from Mr Customer service I don't want a receipt

Always plenty of spaces and reasonable price to park.

Why are the staff in the car park so rude ? If you don’t like your job, get another one.

For a hospital car park little thought has been done for the ease of disabled drivers and convoluted route to get to the disabled bays. About 90% of disabled drivers just do a quick right turn after the entrance barrier to save having to drive in pointless circles.Also for disabled drivers exiting the car park is tedious and I'll thought out. You have to return to your car, take your disabled badge back to the payment machine to scan the barcode then go back to your car. For someone who has mobility issues having to go backwards and forwards is a little much. Personally, I have a photo of the barcode on my disability badge which I show to the machine.A little more thought is needed.

Found it difficult finding my husband afterwards I think I came out of a different exit.
