Blue Lemon Paddleboarding

Great experience out today on the Ready to Ride Lesson 1:2 in Hungerford aimed at the beginner. Colin was so welcoming and encouraging with all the kit provided (and the weather to match!). We had a great afternoon and has definitely set us up for more adventures - would highly recommend.

I have had a great time joint a 2 hour guided tour with Colin and Nicole last weekend. Colin was patient and explained to us the basics, and we all were standing in no time. The route is very nice, starting in central Newbury but also spending some time in a more green space. Hope to join the other tours before the end of the season.

We had a wonderful time with Colin in Newbury! With no experience, Colin quickly instructed us on the skills we needed to be safe and successful on the paddle board. I was very nervous about tipping, but didn't tip and even stood up for a fair portion of the journey! It was great fun! Highly recommend Blue Lemon and loved meeting Colin and Nicole. Next time we are in the area we will definitely seek you out!

My son tried paddle boarding with Colin and Nicole as his instructors in a group for the first time. The session started with brief but very clear instructions about very basic yet useful tips about getting on and off and which side of the river they were to stay and how they had to be mindful of giving way. I was impressed and felt confident that my child was in safe hands from the beginning. Throughout the session, both the instructors were very patient and let the kids splash into river for some fun whilst making sure they were safe. I would recommend Blue lemon paddleboarding to anyone who wants to try paddleboarding. Very well led sessions and very professional.

What a great experience! We had 1:2 paddle lesson, which I bought as a present for our wedding anniversary. My husband and I had never done paddle boarding before. We were extremely pleased with Colin, who made made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Thank you Colin and Nicky, it was lovely to meet you.

I booked a paddleboard safari with a group of friends. Colin was great at meeting all our requirements - date, time & venue, plus the fact that some of the group were total beginners and some had physical health issues. Colin and Nicole were great at giving everyone the confidence to have a go. We all had a really lovely evening - and no-one fell in! I would totally recommend Blue Lemon.

I highly recommend Blue Lemon Paddleboarding. I did a lovely 2 hour tour in Newbury today with Colin & Nic, having previously had 2 1:1 Ready to Ride lessons with Colin. They are both excellent teachers, patient & kind. At the end of my lessons with Colin I was confidently standing on the board & this morning Nic gave me some useful paddling tips that really improved my technique. The route is gorgeous too, from the Wharf to Guyers Lock & back.

What a great lesson we had with Colin 2 days ago. My husband and I booked a lesson together - it was my first time on a paddle board and absolutely loved it!Colin was a really great teacher, got us comfortable on the water and we graduated to standing.I had been unsure as to whether I’d enjoy the experience and Neil and I were both hooked at the end!It was a great experience and Colin is a great teacher. There were many things we learnt that we would never have got to know if we’d tried to get going on our own! Well worth the investment to learn things properly. So calm and enjoyable pottering on the canal.Really good fun as well. Thanks Colin - we’re hooked!!

Had an excellent 1:1 2 hour session with Nic on the Hungerford Canal. They teach everything from getting onto the board to have to stand up and paddle. It is great fun and instructors are really nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
