Please do yourself a favour and steer clear of this business. The number of errors, delays, lack of Comms and incompetence is unbelievable. Took over 8 months to complete, incorrectly released my mortgage funds without my signature resulting in me having to get another mortgage. Name wrong, dob wrong, deposit amount wrong. MHL chased the wrong company for 6 weeks only way I found out was spending hours on the phone with all parties to find out where the bottle neck was, constant delays which led to the seller threatening to pull out on 4 separate occasions. They had to resubmit my HTB for over 14 times! Yes 14 times because that's how many errors they made for one of the stages. I could go on and on about how these guys messed up.Genuinely struggling to understand how a business like this continues to run.For the sake of your mental health and stress levels PLEASE go elsewhere. Using Marshall Hall Levy was the biggest mistake I made and led to countless sleepless nights.

I’ve used Marshall Hall Levy on a few occasions to put a court order in place. I’ve always received a warm welcoming and professional attitude from everyone involved. I have recommended them to anyone looking for the services provided.

I have used MHL twice now, when buying and then selling my house. This was shared ownership, so had some complexities (part lease, part mortgage). John is very experienced, so I felt comfortable knowing his expertise would get the purchase/sale done competently. Kim & Joanne in particular made the whole process of selling my house very smooth - very responsive, attentive and knowledgeable. Especially when there were so many stakeholders involved in the process. I would definitely use MHL again.

What a wonderful firm of solicitors. Used this firm for my divorce and house sale and they were amazing. Kirsty in the family department really helped me through everything. Our case started in April 2021 and is still not complete. I am buying my fathers house off him, so no chains involved. There have been complications along the way but nothing to justify the delay and terrible service we have received.We initially used them as they were linked with our financial advisor and we wanted to keep things simple, however they are now that bad that the financial advisor no longer uses them and has had to chase them repeatedly to no avail.I am now resorting to emailing every email address I can find as I’ve sent 3 emails this week and not one has been answered. I am now receiving auto replies from agents saying they are leaving and have not been reassured that our case is going to be handled by someone else.Do not use this solicitors. Absolutely ridiculous. Will be reporting to the financial ombudsman.Just for context I had no children when we started this, and I now have a 3 month old and our second mortgage offer has just expired, at a time when interest rates are now astronomical.

Avoid.We used them for the sale and purchase of property. Viki was unresponsive to communication ....weeks would go by without responding to emails and phone calls, with no updates as promised. When work was completed it was done to a good standard but there was still outstanding issues which caused multiple delays in completing.Two months on from completing there are still documents outstanding and surprise surprise, Viki does not respond to queries!! They might be cheap but if you value your sanity and want things resolved quickly, go elsewhere.I could honestly list at least 10 more issues we had with them, including lying and withholding funds but I'll save that for the formal complaint that will be submitted to the Ombudsman!

I was a bit apprehensive at the beginning not knowing how the process worked, but the way you explained the undertakings made it very worthwhile experience. You fully explained all aspects of the agreement in simple terms and gave great insight to understanding the content and any implications.
