Live Band Karaoke @ the Phoenix

A quality night out, the band are excellent and their repetoire is impressive. Would absolutely recommend again.

Best experience EVER!!! As a study abroad music education student from the U.S., I was thrilled to find an event to sing with a live band. LBK's diverse repertoire is exceptionally impressive, and their ability to accompany and support a broad variety of vocalists was amazing!! I can't wait for their next gig in a couple weeks - 10/10 would recommend to everyone!! :)

Live band karaoke is so so fun, I can't recommend it enough if you fancy a slightly different night out! The band are amazing, the crowd (/other karaoke-rs!) are always so supportive and welcoming, and all singing abilities are treated like rockstars from those on the dancefloor. Great vibes.

Honestly, such a brilliant night! The band is absolutely superb - they know a huge number of hits from the 50s/60s to the current day and they play as though they know each other really well and seem to love just rocking out. They are very forgiving if you miss your cue and you have a vocalist to help you with where you are in the song in case there’s an instrumental bit or a chorus to repeat. The lyrics are all on an ipad set up for you and the vocalist points if you need help. I’d recommend knowing the song quite well for the best performance of your life! There’s a real range of talent from enthusiastic novice to semi-professional. Much of the fun of the evening is dancing along and joining in like you would at a proper gig. The vocalist does a couple of songs to get the evening going. There’s an app for you to select your song and it tells you what has been reserved. I would personally pay more for the experience. The Phoenix is a great pub and the LBK is in the basement making it feel exclusive with plenty of room to dance. Good bar prices too. I would go just to enjoy all the songs people sing and the quality of the band. I cannot wait to go again!
