Polmarine

We stopped at Polmarine for 3 nights. The room was immaculate and the kitchen well stocked. The view from the balcony was a dream. The owners were absolutely delightful! Will visit again!

Polmarine in the beautiful town of Polruan. My favourite place to stay in Cornwall... beautiful accommodation and hosts...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owners of Polmarine were extremely helpful, the apartment was fully equipped for our needs, though for some reason we thought there would be a DVD player, which on review wasn't advertised! The location is brilliant with coast paths in both directions, and about a 100 yard walk to the ferry to Fowey (£2 per person). The local pub (the Lugger) served delicious homemade food, but you do pay for the quality (it's worth it!). Facilities were all clean, though the shower, whilst fully functional, had a tiny showerhead from the seventies which could use updating!Overall I thoroughly recommend this place, it was lovely, quiet and the matress was the most comfortable thing I ever laid on. If you took a cloud and wrapped it in silk it would not compare to this matress. Mostly because you would be left with cold, wet silk, but that's beside the point; the bed was seriously comfy, and brilliant to fall into after walking the coast paths all day!
