AECC University College Bournemouth Open Upright MRI

Had my Up right MRI scan here today. Was greeted lovely by reception staff. Debbie and Kate were amazing when doing my scan. Made sure I was ok. Thank you so much. Such lovely people. I definitely recommend coming here tor a scan.

I had a very positive experience in the open Mri scan, i am extremely claustrophobic & the ladies there made me very comfortable & nothing was too much trouble, I'm extremely grateful for their patience.

The ladies here are amazing, made me feel at ease quickly and kept me informed throughout the process. Great place for people who are claustrophobic, would definitely use again if I needed to.

As a physio and osteopath its always good to experience something from the other side of the coin. Communication was great from the get go. Scan itself was fine. I suffer from bad claustrophobia and had to abort a previous scan as a result. The open scanner was great. I would have no hesitation in recommending this service and have used for my patients since.

Visited the MRI unit today for a scan. Busy but pleasant waiting area at reception. Helpful staff at reception and no delays. Friendly, considerate, reassuring and helpful staff in the MRI suite.

My scan today was amazing. As a very claustrophobic person this was the only option for me. The staff are so kind, and the scanner brilliant, I would recommend this to anyone.

Having had an MRI some years ago, in a tunnel MRI, and not enjoyed the experience one little bit, I was concerned when I was told that I needed another MRI scan. So after a little research and a discussion with my consultant, it was decided to use the Open MRI at Bournemouth. What a brilliant move that was. From beginning to end I was treated with nothing but kindness and caring. On the day I was looked after by Senior MRI Radiographer Debbie Horne, and I could not have been in better hands. She was professional, knowledgeable and always mindful of my care and comfort throughout the whole procedure. Should I ever need to have further scans, I will not hesitate to contact them, and I would without reservation recommend them to others.

Hi really good service I was very nervous I use power wheelchair staff were so kind and helpful they were very good when taking mri scan asking if I was OK then keeping me informed how much longer scan would be until finish I would recommend mri scan great service and to the staff thank you andy

I would def recommend the Open MRI the ladies where amazing and really did all they could to make me comfortable for my full spinal MRI as I have problems being sat in the same position for any length of time, I was nervous but they talked me through the whole process ensuring at all times I was comfortable and ok..There's no feelings of claustrophobia at all in the scanner, its a bit noisy but you kind of get used to it.Definitely recommend.
