Dillywood Garden Centre

Based on the aquarium section-This place has gone down hill from when I first started coming here..This place always had a reputation for the oddballs and good selection. They expanded and things were looking promising but now it just looks drab with the new tank section being closed down and the selection of fish now bog standard LFS stuff.So my first review of this still stands mostly,visited again twice within a few weeks to see if there was any difference due to maybe a stock or delivery between the 2.. and to be fair on the second visit there were some new fish being acclimatised into the tanks...but still very basic fish.This is probably my 3rd or 4th revised review of this place, I was pretty happy with my visit 5 or so months ago picking up some Geophagus Tapojos, but since then this place has taken another dive ,i've made several visits over the last couple of months as there was promise of a south american pleco section being cycled.But a recent visit said otherwise, minimal basic selection and the stock looked ropey(but we can order it in")

SAT nav took us to a metal gate and rough ground. Took a while to find the proper entrance. Unfortunately arrived after 2pm and the café closed at 3pm. However the tea and cakes were lovely and nice place to meet up for a chat. The Garden Centre was small, but lots of bargains in their sale. All in all a lovely couple of hours.

Tired, whether it was the time of year, not sure. A little disappointing. The cafe though is 5 star.

We had good sandwiches. The three of us sat huddled under an umbrella out of the sun. They have about 6 tables inside but noone was in there. Very nice experience.

The food is exelent... the shop it self a hidden Gem.... by that i mean hard to find lolBut well worth the trip.

The cafe is fantastic and great value. The garden centre is ok for what it's, some good plants and price range is no more expensive than other places.

Post code doesn't take you there, its half way down the lane. Good range of plants and pots as well as aquatic plants.

Nice place to have a look round and have tea and cake. There was a nice range of gifts and plants and somewhere to have tea and cake. Down a very narrow lane. Had some lovely hanging baskets.
