Jan had been working with my son for 9 months on literacy and helping with his confidence. He has improved massively within this time and his school report reads like a different confident child. I highly recommend Jan.

My son has always struggled with literacy. Jan did a great job when he was younger in getting him ready for transfers tests. Then after all the covid lockdowns and lost schooling his English grades weren’t great so returned to Jan for some extra tuition. His English grades are now improving so am delighted.

Jan helped my daughter to prepare the transfer tests just few weeks before the exams started. We found her place in the local newspaper in gave her a ring. Firstly the idea just to boost her confidence, as she listen more if other people teaching her rather than with me. But then about couple of weeks she said Jan very patient to teach her everything before every single exams on Friday evening. Really helps her to remember things she has been taught at school. Will go back to her in the years to come when she gets more exams in highschool. Thank you Jan for all your help!

Jan is a great tutor, our son has dyslexia and she has worked extremely hard with him to help him improve his literacy and numeracy skills. Jan has been supportive and honest with us as parents and our son as a pupil. My daughter has been attending Focus Tuition for 3 years and has made very good progress. I believe that the one-to-one tuition she has received from Jan has increased her knowledge and confidence. Her school work has improved as a result. Focus Tuition provides a very professional service with a personal touch. I am very happy with everything that Jan has done for my daughter.
