We stayed at the Premier Inn at Fort William over Easter and had our breakfast in the Brewers Fayre next door. The staff were cheerful and helpful, everything was clean and food and drink were kept filled up. The dining area is nice with big windows so you can see the scenery too. And we had a lovely evening meal on Easter Sunday. Atmosphere very relaxing, the food was good (especially the Easter crème egg dessert!) and service was prompt though staff still had time to be friendly and exchange a bit of chat. Would really recommend it if you’re in the area.

Amazing Scottish breakfast! The food they serve here for breakfast doesn’t deserve to have such poor rating! For less than £10 per person, we enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast with options of fruits, pastries, yoghurt and coffee on the side. The food are constantly refilled and served hot! It is definitely a great choice for visitors staying at Premier Inn as it is right next to the hotel.

Amazing place and extremely good service. Lovely people, we discovered it on the last day of our stay in Fort William. I wish to try their lovely food on Sundays ...but had only sides n small plates as we were rushing for the train to Edinburgh.

Found one of many empty tables on entering and perused the menu, we had arrived at 13.50pm precisely.Had not been directed to the special meal deals, 2 meals for £9.49 between 12 noon and 6pm and we didn't find this out until after we had ordered. We had decided on x2 filled Yorkshire puddings but on ordering them at the bar to be told that there were no actual Yorkshire puddings available. We looked through the menu again.I ordered and paid at exactly 13.57pm and the meal appeared exactly 6 minutes later which gave the impression of a reheated (not fresh) meal.We ordered the midweek chicken dinner with all the trimmings and a buttermilk chicken goujon burger with spicy Mayo, red coleslaw and skin on fries. My sisters chicken tasted as if it was full of water and the stuffing ball looked dry as did the peas. The cabbage looked full of water too... My sister didn't touch the peas but confirmed my suspicion of the cabbage and declared the roast mini potatoes as being reheated and a little tough. My skin on potato fries were soggy and lukewarm, the x3 chicken goujons on the brioche bun looked over cooked but were surprisingly soft but a little dry and there was no sign of any spicy Mayo. The coleslaw was obviously from a supermarket and tasteless. For beverages we ordered tea for 2, which I had to serve up myself in teapots from a self serve station and considering that it was only tea it cost nearly £6.00.I visited the ladies toilets and they were clean but no soap in both dispensers and then had to cross the small room area to use the hand dryer so I dripped water all over the carpet in the toilets.Overall it was very disappointing. The service was OK though.

This Pub is part of a chain, they serve excellent food and the staff are very professional. Because of this they can get very busy during peak times.During our visit on Thursday afternoon we were able to just wall in, service was very fast. Thanks

Brewers Fayre is in a convenient location for people staying at the Comfort Inn. We had a few meals here and often met in the bar for a drink. The bar seating area is very basic and lacks atmosphere and service. Not all drinks could be provided as components weren't available. The restaurant seems very popular with families. They had quite a few meal deals. The food was fairly average, volume and speed were the main criteria they were catering for, not really taste. We returned to enjoy a Sunday Roast there, what we had was nice but not all items were available. When they run out, they run out. We dined at 6 and got the last of the roast beef, The gamon and yorkshire puddings were gone already. This seems unfair as we paid the same price as the earlier diners.

Greeted by staff when arrived. Staff was polite and helpful. Table was sort of clean, but knives and forks were not. One of the gentlemen's toilets was out of order. The other one was too small. The door opened on the inside, leaving you virtually no room to get out. Paper towels were all over the floor. Not particularly clean at all. Food was average. Cheap food, good service. Worth getting for quick snack at a great price

When my wife and I went in this past Friday which is our custom it was obvious to us that they were very short staffed. But the reception we received was not of panic but business as usual. The shortened menu was fine and the quality was great. We just want to thank all in the restaurant for keeping so calm under what must have been very difficult circumstances.

We went to Brewers fayre for dinner. Unfortunately, we were left waiting at the doorway by one staff member before another told us five minutes later to find a table and order at the bar. I ordered the Sunday roast. Usually, you have a choice of three roasts, but only Gammon was left, no problems there. It took an eternity and still the food hadn't arrived. Then my wife asked what happened to the roast as the all you can eat buffet had been packed away. I went over to the staff member who was cleaning the buffet, and he advised that the kitchen had been told there were no customers left for the buffet. I went to the bar and was directed to the man who originally served us. They indeed forgot about my order and packed up. He apologised and asked them to make me a plate of roast. I returned to the table and the other meals were there. My wife had asked the server about mine, and she gave a blank stare and walked away. So I hungrily watched as they ate their meals. As an aside, they were reportedly very nice. Eventually, a plate of roast arrived for me. The Gammon was okay, but the potatoes and peas and mash were really good. I almost inhaled it, but anyone who knows me knows that all you can eat is more than twice what I received. I've posted a photo of the plate of food. It was in no way reflective of the variety of foods available in the all you can eat buffet. Anyway, I quietly left disappointed and found the only other place we could find open and topped up with Maccas. I didn't expect to travel across the globe for Maccas. Anyway, everyone knows I'm objective, so the food was quite good and I'd rate it well. It was more the service and the inadequate amount of food provided to an all you can eat purchase. I'm also empathetic to the kitchen and service staff. They were short numbered and clearly overwhelmed. The restaurant was full when we arrived and they managed slowly to deliver many meals and clean up the tables. I'm sure they are much better than last night and will rate them down the middle. This is largely because I think the kitchen staff were doing the best they could in the circumstances. I can't blame them for the debacle as they had received instructions that there were no more roast customers and were merely doing their job. My only concern was the time it took to bring out the plate of food. They didn't seem to prioritise the correction of a restaurant mistake as I would if I was in their position. Anyway, I'm not warning anyone away from this establishment. I haven't read any other reviews of the place, so I'm going to assume that it is usually okay. I've learned that this is part of a large chain so I might give them another go when I'm in Edinburgh next Sunday.
