Aiman was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was flexible with the menus for the kids & was exceptionally flexible with a date mix up. The afternoon tea was gorgeous & plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the treat!

By far the best vegan cake I’ve tasted! My son is allergic to cows milk so I wanted a cake where no one could tell the difference and she made it taste so delicious! Other cakes I’ve got made just don’t compare in terms of taste. She was so accommodating and took a last minute booking for me and the presentation was fab! Will definitely be using Aiman again!

Ordered an eggless vanilla and biscoff cake as well as some normal salted caramel cup cakes for a family celebration and we were delighted with the results. Aiman was very helpful, professional and delivered as per our expectations. Everyone loved and praised the taste of the cakes. I ordered the Indian afternoon tea and a birthday cake from Aiman for my mum's 50th and both were absolutely incredible! The afternoon tea was so tasty with an authentic Indian taste and the variety of desserts to choose from was amazing! The cake was also so beautifully decorated and Aiman was very accomodating with the colours and design. I would definitely recommend Dessert first to anyone that is a foodie like me and looking to make their family/friend's birthday very special!

I ordered a cake for my partners surprise 30th Birthday which was Casino themed! The cake was delicious and absolutely beautiful and amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

I held my daughter's 8th birthday party at DessertFirst and it was wonderful! Aiman was a funny and warm host, teaching the kids how to make cake pops, butter cream icing and icing cupcakes. My daughter said it was her best party yet - even my initially very sceptical 10 year old son ended up enjoying it too x

There is no surprise when you check the reviews and they’re nothing but 5* ratings. The service was amazing 10/10 and the dessert left my wedding guests fighting over the last ones. Aiman was so easy to work with to get 10 beautifully packaged afternoon tea boxes for a baby shower zoom call! She was flexible with sandwich and dessert options and even willing to adjust kids sized boxes to cater for adult palettes. They tasted amazing too! The presentation was there as well as the delicious taste of both savoury and sweet options. Also she worked with me to adjust her timings to suit our zoom call and allowed time for delivery of boxes on the day. Everything was freshly made that morning! First time I've used this amazing, convenient, freshly made, all homemade service but I will no doubt be using her service again in the future! Thank you!!!

I had the pleasure of ordering an afternoon tea on Father’s Day for my husband. It was to my home in pristine fashion and what followed was a sensory delight of flavours. The tea comprised of passion fruit panacotta, vegan chocolate brownies, Ferraro cheesecakes, scones and clotted cream, spinach and feta pastries, cheese and cucumber sandwiches, and halloumi rocket wraps, as well as cupcakes for the Occassion. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted perfect. Aiman Poptani, the chef and owner of Dessert First, was a pleasure to liaise with throughout. You can tell she has a passion for doing this and the amount of graft she must have put in with numerous orders and doing all the cooking herself is worthy of praise. Took a chance as was local - what a delight . Birthday cake was superb , details and suggestions all way above my limited brief and beautifully delivered at an awkward time . Our family will definitely return - for cakes and more .
