Swan Samba

We invited Swan Samba to come and play at the Andover Carnival in July 2023. From our initial conversations and throughout the planning we found Gary to be extremely professional and helpful. We were absolutely delighted with the fabulous performance these guys gave. The sound and visual spectacle created just the vibe we wanted at the back of our procession. They managed to keep the energy up throughout and the crowd thoroughly enjoyed it, though I think the performers were pretty exhausted when they finally reached the end!! Thanks guys, you were fab!

Great fun and everyone is very friendly.Even though I was a complete beginner, I have always really enjoyed the classes.Gary is a great teacher - very enthusiastic!

I joined Swan Samba in lockdown 2020, needing something new to focus on. Learning on Zoom was a bit tricky, but so much better now we can do it in person. It is a fantastic way of switching your head off from work, and good exercise while making music. I joined as a complete novice (I'd never even held a drum before) but I am getting by! Great bunch of like-minded people. Highly recommended!

We’ve been looking for a Samba band to join for some time, and we’re so pleased we’ve found Swan Samba! Such a friendly group of people, who clearly enjoy what they do, made us feel very welcome from the start. Gary the leader is exceptional, so helpful. We’ve now finished our taster sessions and are looking forward to our future with the band!
