Foxtail Distillery

My Dad and I visited Foxtail Gin for a gin making masterclass for Dad's birthday. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish and our session was just made up of Dad and I which made the whole thing a bit more personal. We were able to try multiple flavour combinations for our gin creations and Ross was so helpful, knowledgeable and able to offer advice and suggestions (especially when my first two solo attempts were pants!!)Throughout the session we were also offered a taste of many other gins in the room - along with receiving lots of additional information on how gin is made, different types of gin and advice on what to look for when purchasing gin. At no point did we feel rushed, or limited in the number of tries we could take for the gin meaning we were able to just relax and enjoy a lovely afternoon out. We could then instantly take away our own unique blend of gin. Honestly, would 1000% recommend - 10/10.

We asked Leigh and Ross to come to do a gin tasting session for 20 people as part of a hen do. The experience was incredibly enjoyable and professional! Ross and Leigh has an AMAZING selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic gin. They also had a wealth of knowledge about both their own and other gin distilleries. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again - and perhaps visit the distillery next time to further enhance to experience! Thank you SO much!

What a fantastic experience. Ross helped with a relatively small but hugely important commission for my daughter's wedding. Blush pink Rhubarb & Custard gin, in beautiful miniature bottles. They look (and taste) fabulous. Great service and thoroughly nice people to do business with.

My fiance booked this experience for my 30th birthday. It was great! Welcomed with a Foxtail Gin to start the afternoon, we then spent 3 hours learning all about gin and creating our own flavours. There were lots of botanicals to try and a number of attempts at getting the right flavour. We walked away with 2 x 70cl bottles of our own gin flavour! Ross was so knowledgeable, really enthusiastic and helpful! Would 100% recommend!

10/10 Gin experience!We were a group of 5, unsure what to expect!Initially quite difficult to find as it isn’t signposted.Beautiful setting. Leigh was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We got to make 5 different gins using a huge range of different botanicals and trial then. Then we got to take a 20cl bottle home of our favourite and I upgraded to a 70cl as it tasted perfect!Very relaxing afternoon and I’m very glad I came across this gin experience as it was very personal and good value for money. Glad we got a taxi as there’s a lot of gin to taste!!

The best experience - we highly recommend!When arriving for our first time we didn’t quite know what to expect, but we were blown away by how great the whole experience was. Both Ross and Leigh are very welcoming and their bubbly nature made our time so enjoyable.The gin making experience itself is one-of-a-kind. We were surprised to find how personal it was with only our small group of 4 there. There’s lots to learn and lots of gin to try as you make your own - not to mention their own!We’ve loved the experience so much that we’ve visited 3 times in all, and Ross and Leigh have taken the time to make each visit special and different in it’s own way - from afternoon tea in their garden with homemade scones and jam, pizza in the wood fired oven drinking the gin we’ve just distilled to staying overnight in ‘The Roost’ with homemade bread, home pressed apple juice and eggs from their ducks!They are both very passionate in what they do and that shines through to make the experience so great - so much so, that we’ve already penciled in a date for next year and we can’t wait to return!We would highly recommend this to everyone, regardless of whether you have a palate of a sommelier or simply like a few good G&Ts… this won’t disappoint!

Myself and 2 friends visited Foxtail Distillery last week. We had an absolutely amazing time! I am telling everyone I know who likes gin aboutour experience. We were blown away by the setting. Ross was so welcoming, knowledgeable and put us all immediately at ease. We learnt so much about Gin. We weren't rushed at all and had time to really contemplate what flavours we wanted to add to our own personal gins! It has also opened my mind when ordering gin in a pub especially Gin to Tonic ratio!!

We did a foxtail distillery gin experience as part of our hen do. Ross and Leigh were lovely and very knowledgable of all things gin! They came to the house we were staying in and set up without any issues. It was a really enjoyable and relaxed evening and I would thoroughly recommend! They also brought a range of non-alcoholic options for those not drinking. Thank you!!

Leigh and Louisa recently hosted a gin tasting event for my sister’s hen party. We had a brilliant time. Even in the heat and at a venue they were new to, they were friendly, professional and so much fun. We were taught a lot about the gin making process, got to try selections from over 50 gins and even had a go at making our own…don’t think they have any competition from this group! My sister and all the hens said it was worth every penny. Would highly recommend them. Thanks you so much

Leigh & Ross provided a Gin tasting experience for a group of 13 at a set of cottages we had rented for a few days. The service and knowledge they provided was fantastic and all the group had nothing but good things to say.It was great to try a variety of gins that you would not usually come across and their own gin tasted great.Thank you both :)
