Moorlands Lawn Care

Our front and back garden lawns were in poor condition looking tired with little grass, so we decided to call upon Moorlands Lawn Care for their expert help and advice. A few days later their knowledgeable operative (Dave) arrived and inspected both lawns. He recommended an application of Moorlands Lawn Care treatment and regular mowing at biweekly intervals. Now, some five months on, both lawns are looking healthy with an abundance of lush grass. We have found Moorlands Lawn Care reliable, and for good measure they send us a text or email message the day before arriving. The photos are of the back garden lawn.

What a result. We had a an ok lawn previously but reluctantly called David as we are not as fit as we used to be. We should have done this years ago. Straight forward sensible advice. Fixed price. Our garden was a bit of a desolate wasteland after having an extension and it being used as a building yard. Dave leveled out all the ground and laid a lovely lawn that my children adored. He even came back to put a special something on it to help it grow. It took really well, and is still in good condition, so brilliant quality grass. I would highly recommend and I would only use Moorlands Lawn Care in the future.

I can highly recommend Moorlands Lawn Care as I have a maintenance programme tailored by David’s company on my extensive lawns. Previously they were a patchwork of daisies, creeping buttercup, woodrush, speedwell, eggs and bacon and bugle, not to mention the odd dandelion too. I used to scarify anything up to 6x1 ton bags of moss each year from them. My lawns were treated with moss killer, scarified, aerated, oversown, harrowed and fertilised and they all now look stunning. I’ve had several compliments about the vast improvement following David’s work on them. I’m very impressed, he does a top class job.

My lawn was a tale of two halves. A patio was taken up and we tried to re turf and make it look seamless in the join to the other lawn. It didn’t work. So when weeds and moss took over both lawns, it was time for some action. Moorland Lawn Care have done regular feeds, fertilisation, weed care and after 6 months, those two wrecked lawns are now looking more like a bowling green! I’ve got a dog so it will never be perfect but it’s getting there.
