A little further on from The Trinnacle, here you get amazing views from a different angle. If you look to the west you can see the city of Manchester in the distance.

It takes about 1 hour from the car park to here. The last section of trail to the peak is a little bit steep and exhausting. Children and elderly may spend some effort to overcome the challenge. The scenery is very beautiful. You can watch the whole reservoir as well as the surrounding mountains. Highly recommended!

Nice little hike. Walked around the reservoir, then up to Dovestones edge, saw the quarry, and went around to The Trinnacle. £4 parking all day, toilets at the car park and a lovely little food van

Amazing beautiful walk through the hills! Could make it either a full day hike around the reservoir or to the top and back which is about an hour ish
