Reliable, professional and welcoming.The team at B&W Basement are great. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you are looking for a place to develop or print your black and white film - this is it. I feel lucky to have found a place like this - whenever I leave I can't wait to go back!

What a lovely day I spend with David and Keith. Everything was well organised and David had prepared a little booklet for me to take home with all the notes of the day. It was really inspirational and I would highly recommend! A full day of learning and enjoying, will be going back soon to use the facilities on my own now.

I recently had a full day of darkroom tuition with the guidance of David and after only one day I made a few successful prints and feel i've learned everything I need to know in order to come back to print on my own! Keith and David are very welcoming and are great at what they do, would definitely recommend their services to anyone who needs them!

I have just finished a 2 day 1:1 darkroom course at Black & White Basement. I was taken through all the steps of developing 35mm and 120 roll film, making contact sheets and then selective full size prints. The tuition could not have been better: it was well paced and plenty of time for chat about photography generally. I am utterly thrilled with the prints I made, and will definitely return to make use of the facilities as well as further learning.
