I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I was very disappointed with the food from here. Having recently moved to the area we are trying to find a decent Chinese takeaway. I was encouraged by the previous reviews, especially one that said it was better than China China. Sadly, the food was low quality, with over cooked rice with a consistency like risotto and a crispy beef that had very little flavour. The crispy duck pancakes were very good however. Unfortunately our search continues.

So, I've tried all of the Chinese takeaways in Blandford now. I'd say this has to be one of the better ones. Just walking in, I did have to wait a good 30mins for my food however it was completely worth the wait.It was cooked well and full of flavour but not overpowering or too sweet. I'll probably use lucky house now rather than the other takeouts. Whilst I was there it was busy, the guy that served me was nice, it's clear this a proper family run business... All more reason to use it.

Worst customer service I've ever come across. Stood in the shop for 15 minutes, not one person came from the kitchen to the front counter. Phone rang constantly with no one answering. I understand being busy, buy surely customer service is paramount.

The best Chinese in Blandford. The chicken curry is incredible, food portions are ideal. Always a nightmare getting through to them on the telephone so I’d recommend going down there to order if you can’t get through within 5 minutes.

Absolutely delicious! Recently moved to blandford and got recommended lucky house for a chinese. Affordable, yes. Tasty, yes. Good portion size, yes. Ticks all my boxes.

If this is place is still in the hands of the Dan's family as it was 22 years ago you can't go wrong. Back when I went to school in Blandford Forum on Friday nights we used to take our pocket money, go buy some beers then at the end of the night pop into the Chinese for a chicken chow mein to spend the last of the pocket money.

Blinding bit of Grub, its gotta be the best Chinise Grub i'v Eaten for yrs, also Mike who mostly serves his customers is a lovely fella, always polite and smiling, the Only down side is, its very difficult to get through on the phone...!
