Storm and Charlie from Glo were extremely knowledgeable and explained the process from installation and location of panels and battery through to using the app clearly. They consulted at every stage and made recommendations based on their previous experience. Overall a professional and friendly team who I’d highly recommend.

We wanted to add significantly to our existing 16 panel solar installation. Extra panels (19), battery and compatible EV charger were on our shopping listGloRenewables provided excellent support, service, value and advice from our initial enquiry, through the necessary approvals to a smooth installation and commissioning. The guys have been an absolute pleasure to work with and to have in our home. No issue has been too small for them to consider and their after sales commitment has, so far, been equally impressive. After having Glo install our solar panels, I'm very happy to highly recommend them. I found them to be very hard-working, punctual, pleasant and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the installation. Their attention to detail, such as adding a fire-board behind the battery, and using non-melting clips to keep power cables in place, was very impressive.It was a pleasure to have them around for a few days and I'm delighted with the end result. It feels like we are definitely in safe hands!

Storm and Charlie have provided an excellent service in providing and installing solar panels, a battery and an EV charger. They explained our options clearly and suggested appropriate solutions for our particular requirements. Their installation was efficient and on-time and they were always cheerful, informative and responsive to our needs. There were teething problems with the equipment but they responded rapidly, kept us fully informed of developments, and ultimately found the necessary solutions. Having tried pretty much all the local options and found them seriously unable to communicate properly or even give a sensible quotation (sound familiar yet?) I came across Storm and Charlie who were a breath of fresh air. Attentive, good communicators, excellent sensitive installation and superb after service. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic service all the way through our solar power project - informed and expert system design; excellent communication (it's quite complicated!); the team were super polite, friendly and considerate to us and our neighbours throughout the installation (which only took two and a half days from start to all up and running). Indefatigably cheerful despite having to work in our highly insulated loft on the hottest day of the year so far (29C and sunny outside). The attention to detail throughout was extremely impressive; the resulting installation is super-neat, and properly follows ALL the regulations (not everyone does!). GLO continued monitoring the system from afar and were able to remotely fix an issue they spotted with battery charging. All part of the service apparently!Score - 11 out of 10, plus a gold star. Really!

Glo Renewables retrofitted a 9.5Kwh Givenergy battery to my pv system installed in 2010, and replaced my prototype diverter with an Eddie solar diverter. The installation was not straight forward as the panels & inverter are on/in our garage with the consumer unit and diverter in our house, about 30m apart. Glo Renewables devised a solution using a Lora that fitted our particular circumstances. Installation was swift and smooth but commissioning was hampered by communication issues, soon solved by adding a Harvi. The system has now been working for a month, performing flawlessly and as expected.Glo Renewables diligent approach to designing a solution to suit my situation and swift response to my queries gave me confidence that they were the right installer for me. They proved this with a timely and successful retrofit.

Glo Renewables are a highly professional and competitive outfit. They presented me with a range of solar panel options, advised on the best solution for our specific circumstances and installed it on time and with minimum disruption.

Glo fitted a 6Kw array, inverter and a 9.5Kw battery. We are WSW facing and the performance of the system has been superb.We live in a Victorian property with a fragile slate tile roof and were keen to work with a smaller more agile firm that could adapt their approach during the works if needed. We believed a large commercial firm would be less likely to give the job the attention it required.We benchmarked the quote from Glo with local and national fitters and found it to be competitive. The professionalism and customer centricity of Glo really stood them apart.The team at Glo have a great relationship with their scaffolders who in turn were very considerate when installing to avoid damaging our ancient Wisteria! Plant pots were carefully moved, benches relocated and the whole site left tidy.The quality of the work from the Glo team was excellent with close attention to detail, taking extra time to make an incredibly neat and compact install, repairing tiles where possible, replacing where necessary. The supply cable was expertly hidden behind drain pipes etc to be essentially invisible. The inverter and battery install was well thought out for future servicing. Very impressive.The post install support has been proactive and Glo have patiently supported me through the process of seeking approval for SEG payments.Overall I would highly recommend Glo for similar projects.
