I have been using this salon for over 20 years, and Susan has had to deal with many zany complex colours and cuts! I would not trust anyone else with my hair. I was in on the same day as this person Dipla who left the 1 star scathing review. This person kept complaining that her “bleach” had been left on too long, and was told that she did not have beach on her hair but a toner, which does not damage the hair. Her hair was then washed, but Susan did explain that she would just quickly dry another customers hair first. This lady would not wait and insisted on drying her own hair. More a case of her not wanting to wait, definitely not her being rushed out of the shop. I can also confirm that at no point during this visit was anyone rude to this lady. What was rude, was the way she and her daughter swore like tramps in front of a child throughout.

Lovely hairdresser well worth the price. (I used the groupon deal but it was honestly worth a lot more). Thanks x

I went for my hair cut and highlights. She did a wonderful job and I loved it. It was my first time colouring my hair and she explained every bit of it and made sure I know what I was getting. 10/10 would recommend and I would definitely visit again!!!

I am writing this in regards to The hairdresser in coatsworth road, Bensham. The standard of service is appalling, disgusting, disappointing and disgraceful. The way she did the haircut, styling and colour was messy,unorganised. She is not polite at all. she did not care about me as a customer. My hair was in a worse messy state than before I started with. I am not happy with the hairdresser and her work ethics. She put on the hair colour did not time it, and kept going inside at the back of the hairdressers, and was constantly on the phone, talking about other customers problems and issues with people who called. Very unprofessional. I had tocall her a few times as the colour was on for more than it should. She did a haphazard job of it. The hair cut and colour. It was not to a professional high standard. My hair was left in a in a dire state. Do not waste your time or money visiting this hairdressing salon. It is by far the worst kind of service I received at a hairdressers salon.I would urge you to not believe the images work that is on the profile, because it is far from the truth. I would not want you to be conned, scammed or be ripped off by this hairdresser. I request do not believe anything, because at first she seems to be nice to you and once she start doing the job everything goes wrong very wrong. Just as she finished,she rushed us to leave before we could even collect our belongings. She did not even give me a chance to look at the end. She went out of the hairdressers and started to shout for us to leave. Started to close the shutters outside forcing us to leave. We we had to put our coats on outside. I have never encountered any thing like this before. Shocking to say the least. The level of service and professionalism is below standard.

Susan did an amazing job on my hair. It was waste length and she cut, coloured and highlighted my hair and I walked out feeling 20 years younger. I am disabled and mobility is very limited but from walking into the salon Susan was so friendly and nothing was a bother to her. I went in as a customer, I left as a friend.Thank you Susan for all your kindness, patience and understanding and an amazing cut and colour. xx

Hi Susan I'm trying to contact via phone number but no joy getting through since Friday. I found your salon via groupon app and purchased wash cut blow dry half head highlights which my local salon used to do for me but has ceased business. I live at Bedlington Northumberland and wanting to book in on 20th April. I've to be at Queens hospital for a 3pm pre op appointment so if your able to get me in at suitable time beforehand then I can drive on to the hospital from your salon. Kind regardsHeather Mason

I visited the salon two times. My experience was superb. First time I went to color my hair. The lady was so humble and totally dedicated towards her work and she worked kn my hair even after her closing time as I demanded for some unique color and she was trying her best to fulfill my wish. And the outcome was so fantastic. That experience forced me to go back to her once again this time for hair cut. And once again she gave me wonderful look. My whole personality changed. I will highly recommended her. And if I stay here I will visit her again and again.
