I am giving this review as I was really impressed with Lisa who answered my phone call. To say the response I received is the very antithesis of what I have been subjected to for months by (the company I hired) Is an understatement! Lisa was friendly, helpful and extremely kind. She went out of her way to find something out for me, even calling me back and leaving me a message, for something that is not Allenby Glass Ltd related. I can honestly say. If that is their customer service, then what they do must be equally good. Lisa deserves a pay rise.. And she is an excellent credit to Allenby Glass Ltd. Thank you!

Very helpful got what we wanted in cut glass

An excellent company who have provided me with two sets of perfectly cut greenhouse glass for two projects I have been involved with. Excellent customer service and a great product.

We were looking for arts and crafts design stained glass panels for a bespoke oak front door we had made by Neil Ryves joinery (top craftsman) We had tried a few suppliers who were very unhelpful and seemed almost disinterested in our project. Once we had phoned Lisa and the team at AllenbyGlass in Lincoln we knew the search was over and they helped us with various elements of the design and got the antique style colours we had been searching for - never feeling like we were being rushed along. 5 panels completed before schedule and at a very reasonable price. I've had several double glazing units made to order to custom sizes and configurations. The company is flexible and accommodating and the prices are very reasonable.

At Newark Air Museum our Avro Vulcan bomber was in need of the outer layers of the starboard windscreen which had cracked and deteriorated with age. Several companies I approached were not interested in helping restore this ageing aeroplane. Fortunately the staff at Allenby Glass were keen to help with several Vulcan enthusiasts on their team! Having provided them with a template of the damaged screen they quickly produced a toughened glass screen to the thickness and dimensions that we required. Fitting was delayed due to other technical problems but it is now installed and we have a restored and leak proof screen which only an expert on very close examination would realise that it is not original equipment. Many thanks to the staff at Allenby Glass!
