FUR the love of paws

Since moving to Edinburgh, Jo has been a real star and lucky find. We tried our dog with another company but it was clear they were only interested in adding more dogs to their books opposed to ensure each dog had a safe and enjoyable experience. Jo took her time to get to know our dog and how he would fit in with her existing pack. It’s literally his favourite time of the week when she calls to collect him. Couldn’t recommend Jo more as someone who will love and cherish your pet as much you do.

We have been using Jo's dog walking service for a couple of years. Our dog Eddie absolutely loves his time with her and her lovely gang of pooches. Jo is an amazing dog walker. She really thinks through the walks for her dogs, ensures they have a fun time and are well matched with other dogs on the walks. Roo loves them! Jo sends through pics and videos of each walk so you feel like you know how it has gone which is really nice. Jo is also very organised and prompt communicator which makes sorting the logistics much easier. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Jo has walked our dog for the past 6 months and we are so lucky to have found her. He just loves his morning walks and adventures with her and the other pups, waits excitedly for her to arrive and comes home happy and tired. Jo’s priority is the safety of the dogs she walks and this means that his recall has improved enormously because of her. Jo has been our dog Walker for a while now and we are lucky to have someone who cares for our dog so much and makes us feel safe in the knowledge that he’s well looked after on his walks. When the doorbell rings Toby knows it’s wall time and when he comes home he’s tired and chilled - exactly what we need! Jo has a key to our house as we are comfortable with her coming in & out with Toby. Highly recommend.

Jo has been walking my dog Rupert since April when we moved to the area and I could not recommend her more highly she is absolutely amazing. When Rupert first joined Jo took the time to get to know Rupert making sure he was suitable for the group and learning about his individual personality. She truly loves all the dogs in her group and takes care of Rupert like he is her own. She sends pictures and videos after every walk and makes sure the dogs safety is paramount at all times. Jo’s dedication and knowledge of dogs behaviour and their safety is extremely evident and I trust her 100% with Rupert. Jo is an amazing dog walker and our dog absolutely loves her. She is so professional but mostly she loves dogs and cares for ours as if he were her own, you can’t ask for more than that. She keeps in great contact with us and we get regular updates about how our dog is doing with videos and photos. She has known our dog since he was a tiny puppy, did puppy visits when he was still small and now takes him on exhilarating joint walks with other dogs and he is getting amazing socialisation. We trust her 100% with our dog.I would not hesitate to recommend Jo, she is brilliant.

Jo at Fur the love of paws is brilliant with our springer. It's such a professional dog walking service with every care taken for your dog & ensuring there's a good dynamic in the pack. It's so clear how much Jo loves dogs & great knowing Bridie is in such good hands. It's also lovely getting the video updates from the walks & seeing our pooch bound about with her doggy pals. Would 100% recommend.

Having used several dog walkers in the last few years I can confidently say that Jo at FUR the love of paws is the best. I think the highest compliment I can pay is that my dog Arlo now waits in the hall on his walking day and is first to the door when Jo pulls up. As a worrier there are very few people I trust to leave Arlo with and can say with confidence that Jo is one of these select few. The pictures and videos she provides from every walk are a highlight of the day and Jo's enthusiasm towards all her dogs is one of the many reasons we would recommend her to any new customers. Your dog will be safe and happy while in her care!

Fur the love of paws was recommended to me and all I can say is that my dog's life has been changed for ever in the most wonderful way. Jo is just fantastic with Molly and Molly simply adores both Jo and her dog, Harry. I get Molly ready for her walk each morning and she then sits on the stairs waiting for Jo to arrive. She just can't wait to go on her daily adventure and if Harry is on the same walk, it is simply the icing on the cake! She loves Harry.Due to recent ill health I needed to find a dog walker for my 20 month old dog, as I didn't want her to miss out at such a young age. Jo came to visit Molly and I before she started going out on group walks. She asked loads of questions about her and took her out on a solo walk to see how they bonded. Molly has come on so much with Jo. She loves meeting new dogs and has made lots of new friends.All I can say is Jo is a fantastic dog walker. She gives great advice and is so knowledgeable about dogs and their health. I completely trust Jo 100% with Molly. I think I've learnt as much as Molly from Jo. The best part of my day is when I receive the photos and videos from the daily walks. I love seeing what she has been up to and I can tell from her body language that she has had a great time.
