5678 Dance Studio is awesome. I am by no means a professional dancer and have previously felt too nervous to go into a dance studio before, but I felt their website seemed friendly and professional, so I gave them a call. Best thing I've ever done!Yuri is excellent, he understood completely about my nerves and worries, but picked up on my excitement and love of dance and music. Since starting lessons my confidence has grown so much, and I have been able to improve my health in a fun way. I am a person who deals with a lot of physical pain due to illness and both Yuri and Gianina have been able to tailor their lessons to meet my physical needs. I can only imagine that people with more experience than me would find the studio and lessons fulfilling too.I cannot recommend this place enough, whether it's one to one lessons or classes, this place is affordable, inclusive and so worth it.They are also soon starting women's only dance fitness classes (invented by a strictly professional!) for people who don't want to learn as much choreography but want to dance, feel the music and keep fit. My whole family are excited for these to start! (Age range 18-60)The studio itself is lovely too. It's right in the heart of Anderston but down a wee lane so no one sees your red face when you finish. Haha! It's accessable by public transport and it's easy to find parking.They offer lots of different types of dance here and there is no pressure to be perfect. Both professionals and beginners alike will enjoy being part of 5678 as there is truly something for everyone. If you're nervous and looking for a place to start give them a call.
