They have a large meeting room on the first floor, with a bar and display projector. It was easy to find and the staff where helpful.We asked them for some lunch, they provided plenty of food for a group of our size, it was reasonable food and there was lots left over afterwards.They have a large car park, with plenty of space, easy to get in and out. It was slightly confusing as to which one was the entrance, i missed it the first time going along the main road.Interesting masonic displays / paraphernalia.

Very disappointing in the food!!!! The quantity was appalling!! The table was set for 8 people only 6 was sat at it and was no were enough sandwiches!!! And don't get me started on the size of the sandwiches. Iv been to children parties and eaten more. It was sold as a cream tea but only 3 people were able to have a scone. I suggest someone goes to any decent place and try a cream tea and see what you get and how it should be presented. On arrival no hot water for tea coffee etc. No one came and asked if everything was ok!!! Wonder why???? I have worked in catering for meny years and never seen such a poor attempt.

Beautiful place. Beautiful food. Very friendly people. Food was hot. Staff were excellent. The entertainment was amazing. We all had a wonderful time.

Attended to celebrate the life of a loved one. A mixture of hot ad cold food, tea and coffee laid out for our arrival,tasty and plentiful. Sufficient staff for things to run smoothly without being overwhelming.

We held a celebration of my mother's life here recently. I can't thank Jan and team enough for making it such a successful event. Their attention to detail and professionalism were second to none.

If I could have given Zero stars for this review I would have! I used this venue for my fathers funeral. The lady dealing with it wasn't clear on different levels of catering prices, she only gave me one price which gave the bare minimum of food. Having said that even at the rate given I would have expected a lot more than a few sandwiches, a few bowls of crisps and a bowl of poorly made coleslaw. I had guests that had travelled from quite far away, we ended up having to go to another venue for food. When I mentioned this to the manager she was very unsympathetic and came back with points that she believed outweighed the poor food, like the bar staff started serving even though we had arrived a little earlier than planned. They started clearing the tea and coffee away about 15 minutes after the guests had arrived and used the excuse that they couldn't leave it out for too long yet it was out when we arrived 30 minutes early. Given this was a very sensitive day you would think the hosts would have been a little more understanding and apologetic.I believe the events organisers of this venue think it is better there than it actually is. The lady informed me that she had been hosting events there for a good number of years and had never had any complaints yet when I looked on the reviews (which I wished I had done before booking) there was lots of unhappy customers.

Supposed to have been a turkey dinner. One slice of turkey sitting on lumpy mash, and a Yorkshire pudding that you could break if you threw it to the wall. There was one piece of roast potatoe which was hard and burnt. No veg only one small slice of roast parsnip. We paid good money for that being served by people with no dress code. So looked very unprofessional. The coffee n mint was served before the desert which you needed to eat with water so you could get it down. I think I should have scored it a 1 and not 2 really. Absolutely outrageous and very expensive at that.

Mansfield Swimming Club had their annual presentation evening held on the ground floor and it worked well, has a stage and a dance area with room for tables etc there was a good bar that can serve 2 or 3 guests at a time. Parking was also available at the rear of the venue.
