Never done any plane spotting before but a great place to start. Not much there besides a few picnic benches and shelter.Definitely go back with a decent DSLR.Just one thing, parking! It isn't cheap per hour so bear that in mind.

It's not suited to purpose AT ALL. People watching planes don't make money for the airport thus they are neglected.

It's a bus stop shoved out of the way away from the terminal areas, they could make a fortune from aviation enthusiasts, there used to be a special lounge area and also a grassed area to view from, extortionate car park charges, wake up BHX I am sure there must be a niche somewhere.

Brilliant place to go and watch the aircraft arriving and departing there are some really good close up views depending on which runway is in use.

£15 for 2 hours parking.Quite a restricted view through fence and refuelling tankers.They really need to take some inspiration from Manchester airport, much better visitor park.

Great view of planes taking off. Can see in the distance planes landing and can see planes quite close that are parked. Picnic benches and a shelter available. BEWARE it's £7.50 an hour to park in the car park where the viewing area is.

I love this place! It is great for watching the planes but if the runway used isn’t 33, planes are already airborne

Easy to access area, about a 10 min walk from the terminal. Good views of the planes taking off and landing. Cheap to get to on the train from New Street if you want to get the train in.
