I was really very pleased with The Individual Funeral Company. They came recommended to me as not only providing an individual service but a very unique one. Suffice to say that Lucy and her team are quite a bit removed from what is perhaps the popular concept of a funeral director, and I mean that in a very good way! One of the most important aspects was the immediate response to any questions I had regarding my wife's funeral. A reply to a query was almost instantaneous. And the actual act of burial at a Natural Burial Site was exemplary in every way.Thank You.

Lucy and the team were truly a gift to us in a really difficult time of our lives. From the very first phonecall which I made together with my mum before she passed away, to the service itself, we felt in such safe hands. It really gave comfort to my mum in that moment. Lucy clearly has an incredible depth of knowledge and sensitivity. She shared a lot of really useful information with us about what we needed to do to prepare, but did so both professionally and sensitively in a way that felt manageable. Lucy was so supportive, kind and compassionate throughout. She was always there to answer any questions I had - particularly important as someone who hadn’t been through the process before. The funeral itself was the most beautiful celebration of my beloved Dad’s life in a the most stunning natural burial site. Perfectly fitting in every way, with a bespoke coffin design tailored to him and a lovely service given by a local friendly vicar. The flowers were also stunning. The local companies Lucy recommended were there every step of the way, and together they all made a difficult time just that little bit easier.
