Northern String Quartet

We got married at West Tower, Ormskirk in September 23 and hired the strings to play me down the aisle. Their performance was so beautiful and made my aisle walk so emotional. I would highly recommend, thanks for being amazing.

We had the pleasure of having The Northern String Quartet play for us on our wedding day! (9th June)I can only say, sublime from start to finish! They played songs we selected and a variety of requests from guests. We could pick what specific songs we wanted at which part of the day!The quartet were friendly! We had the pleasure of the Northern String Quartet to play at our wedding and they were fantastic and so professional. Had so many compliments of the way they played and the atmosphere it created on the day. They also have a great selection of songs to choose from and we even sent a song that wasn’t on the list that they covered which was my husbands favourite song- we were so impressed! They also supported us when our first 3 wedding dates were postponed due to Covid, they just rolled everything over and their communication is great. Highly recommend!

We had the fantastic Northern String Quartet play at our wedding in July and they were absolutely incredible! So many of our guests commented on how brilliant they were and loved the mix of songs they performed - which we were able to choose to create a playlist to suit us and our wedding. We initially only planned to hire them for the ceremony and reception but decided to have them play through dinner too and it was one of the best decisions we made - our guests loved the mix of classical, pop, rock and movie themes they played throughout our wedding and they set the tone perfectly for our day. They were all extremely professional and talented musicians but also really lovely people to deal with which made the whole process so enjoyable! They even asked if they could sign our guest book and left us a lovely message. Thank you for adding such a wonderful element to our wedding day :)

Northern String Quartet were the perfect addition to an already perfect wedding! We booked them for our March wedding in Manchester and the amount of guests who told us how elegant it was to have them there, well it was pretty much everyone! The communication was good with a pre-wedding phone call the week of the wedding to put my mind at ease. Even though they didn't have the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to in their repertoire, Nikolas ensured me that they would be able to perform it and it was superb! We asked for a range of classical, pop and even some movie soundtracks thrown in and they did not disappoint! Thank you so much for arranging everything for us! This is one supplier that I didn't need to worry about, true professionals!

Beautiful sound! We had the Northern String Quartet for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! From the initial booking everything was smooth and no request was too big. Nikolas was so helpful with putting together an arrangement for 2 new song requests. He kept me updated with progress and booked in a catch up the week before the event to confirm everything. On the day the quartet sounded incredible. They were perfectly set up and thoroughly professional. The 2 song requests were wonderfully performed and the rest of the set was equally stunning - I just wish I could have stood and listened more! They were happy to move location after the ceremony and really made the start of the celebrations magical. We had the chance for a quick hello and it was lovely to get to meet them all in person. If you are considering a string quartet for your wedding or other event you really must book Northern String Quartet. Their repertoire is immense and you really will not be disappointed.
