SIXT Car & Van Hire - London Stratford/Westfield

The staff at the service desk was phenomenal. He was very attentive, responsive and very polite. He even suggested us to change a car to suit with our luggage size and explain well on the insurance and conditions.Major drawback was a lack of information upon returning the car during off hours. There was no signage explaining where to drop the key. It turned out that we needed to get into the closing section at the same level of the service office to drop a key in the orange drop box. We needed to call the travel agent for support.Now, let’s hope they can find the parked car which we were on the SIXT bay spots.

First time hiring any car and was very pleased with the service and the vehicle. Saj was so helpful and made sure I was happy every single step of the process. Loved the Mini.He went above and beyond to see that my first car hire experience was top notch. Thank you Saj thank you Sixt.

Customer service at the store is fine and that's why I gave two stars. However, beware that SIXT will charge you extra fees which has happened the every time I have used them regardless of location. I will subsequently need to spend 20 mins on a call and get these charges refunded. These charges range between £15-£20 and is undoubtedly done so that they can get the extra revenue with the hopes that people won't check. For example, last time I dropped the car I was charged a late fee despite being almost an hour early. I have made complaints and have had no response.Avoid if you can or make sure you check the invoice at the end of your rental period.

Asad was very friendly at the branch and went out of his way to find me the best car based on my website requirements and revised budget. He was very helpful and knowledgable and did a great upgrade for me to this BMW 1 series. Thanks again. Only negative to note was that I was auto over charged when vehicle was returned, appears I was charged VAT twice. Called cust Serv and they refunded and I had the money back within a couple of days. Will be even better if the branch inside the Stratford Int. station could open back up again as this saves navigating the Westfield and the minefield that is the car park.

We rented a car over bank holiday weekend with unlimited mileage and 0 GBP excess. We brought the car back on time, before the end of our rental period. We were not only charged for 1 extra day on top of our original rental period (that’s on top of the extra day we had already pre-paid for late return) but also at a completely different rental daily rate (£100+ higher PER DAY). Plus, we never received a revised invoice despite them charging our credit card with the higher amount. The Sixt phone customer service has acknowledged the issue and processed our refund after 1h on the phone, but we are still waiting for it. They mentioned it was the branch specifically revising the invoice higher and adding an extra day. Unprofessional to say the least, unfortunately. Very sad for a customer who has paid for unlimited miles and 0 excess not to have to worry about extra costs, and with video evidence of the time and day of the car drop off.Our bill was ~£1000 higher than initially invoiced at pickup.Avoid at all costs - had much better experiences with other car rental services.

Jumal Mahmood was the Customer Service operator who served me at Sixt in Stratford. He was efficient, thorough and polite. He guided me through the whole process explaining things clearly and concisely. The van I hired was beautifully clean and was absolutely what I needed. On my return, there were some discrepancies regarding some damage to the vehicle, which was made by the previous renter. I made one quick call to Jumal who sorted everything out effectively and kept me informed the whole way through at every step. Jumal worked hard, but effortlessly for his 5 stars and deserves every single star. Excellent service!! I will definitely use them again.

Easy booking, picked up a fat transporter. Price is a bit steep due to my age but what can you do.Got the keys within 10 minutes, it was a fresh 72 plate, with apple carplay, cruise control etc so was perfect.Stress free drop off as well, literally you can go anytime even when they’re closed, park the vehicle up and dash the keys in the Sixt box.
